John McCain happy about automatic app updates on iOS 7

Last month, when Apple CEO Tim Cook was being questioned about Apple's corporate tax rate by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) had a question to ask the Apple executive. The former Republican Presidential candidate wanted to know, "Why the hell do I have to keep updating apps on my iPhone all the time?"

Perhaps the Senator was keeping a eye on things in San Francisco Monday morning, because he later sent out a tweet thanking Tim Cook for the automatic app updates that is a new feature for Apple in iOS 7. Perhaps now that one of the most senior senators in the states no longer has to worry about manually updating the apps on his Apple iPhone, we will see some more action from Congress to get the economy righted.
