Android 4.1 and Android 4.2 are now on 13.6% of Android devices in the latest distribution stats provided by Google, and the vast majority of users are still using Android 2.3.3 to 2.3.7; with 29% of Android users running on Ice Cream Sandwich, that is actually down .1% from the information disseminated by Google last month...

that makes sense as most of the ICS devices will be upgraded but most of the GB devices were not upgraded

That's not a sad part I think. As there are hundreds of smartphones of dozens of manufacturers, It's obvious why those updates are slower than ios which has only several phones but only by Apple. So I don't think It's sad. Gradually all the smartphones will get their latest updates. Android is dominating the world with a huge gap to ios, windows os and RIM os. why is that? It's the most and only versatile OS in the market right now. And that's what we have to consider about.
