J.D. Power says Verizon, US Cellular and Sprint excel in call quality
The annual J.D. Power & Associates survey about wireless call quality has taken place and the results have been announced. It looks like Verizon, U.S. Cellular and Sprint are the carriers that excel in this category the most. Wireless call quality rating is based on the number of issues that have occurred, including dropped connections, echoing, connection failures, distortion and so on. US Cellular gets the award in the North Central part of the country, marking its seventh consecutive win. The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions are dominated by Verizon, with Sprint Nextel still equal to Big Red in the West.
