I can't wait to see how many people actually think this will be the one, and only one. I hate to break the news to you, it just got released and there will be more. What then?

As long as it's less than 80? We gud.......,..

I guess that's cool if you see all things as a competition between Samsung and Apple and your hope is that Apple wins. As long as it's less than Samsung, we gud. My hope is there are few incidents. But, if it becomes common (as is not the case currently), Apple takes the necessary steps to acknowledge the problem and take corrective action. That would be courageous on their part. Unfortunately, all the iPhone battery issues that went unreported to tech sites in the past, that Apple just exchanged quietly without adding to any count in news articles, will now be public.

I know you're an Apple fan and I`m an Android fan but how exactly it is worse than Samsung ? Honestly its one single incident and I hope it doesn't turn out to be more than few isolated incidents. Also these things happen every year but due to Note7 battery fiasco its getting more attention.

Yep, lol. Was trying to be "in here before..." type of comment. I hope this blows into the same fiasco though. Would be a very very interesting couple of months. (Obviously, don't mean for anyone to get hurt). Just curious how all the fanboys will "explode" (self included).

It would seem to me, as bad as the phone looks, the box would have caught fire.

A phone that off in a box exploded sounds suspious. Now if we start hearing multiple reports from the public while using/charging the phone, then it will be an issue.

Atleast 27 of the supposedly Note 7 explosions, were faked by the users. Maybe because the users dropped the phone and wanted to get a new replacement that way. How do we even know that not a competitor or several compeitiors faked some of the explosions to harm the reputation of Samsung even further? This iphone explosion could be a fake one aswell.

Why the f**k would you burn your device on purpose to get a new one (or even different one) if Samsung and carriers actually enforced you to do that even if your device isn't burned or showing any signs? Very stupid logic!!!

Because con artists who take advantage of the Note7 explosion issue, burn their devices along with their properties, on purpose, to get a payday from Samsung and from their Insurances. Quote: "Very stupid logic!!!" You're talking about your logic there, literally.
