Images of Nexus 5 2300mAh battery leak

Earlier this month, a tipster told us that the Google Nexus 5 could have two different batteries powering the phone, depending on which model of the phone you're looking at; according to our source, the 16GB version of the phone will be powered by a 2300mAh cell while the 32GB variant will be powered by a larger 3000mAh battery...

True, the right software optimization and the new power efficiency of the S800 should make battery life bearable. Even though the Moto X has a 720p display, it has great battery life from the battery tests I've seen and hopefully Google incorporated those battery life software tweaks into the N5 and Android 4.4.

If you guys keep complainin bout the battery life stop using it all day, 3000 mah is more enough better than 2000 mah battery.

the only hope for me to leave the ios ecosystem for good and ended up being a total disappointment 2300 mah battery is a total disaster for an android phone with a 5 inch 1080p screen, quadcore... no way google

I am not sure why google went for 2300mAh battery...may be N5 have igzo display and kit-kat will have some sort of power optimizations.

Use Easy battery Saver/Juice Defender ultimate for long lasting battery. Stop complaining about bigger battery. People are asking for bigger battery only because it was rumoured. 2300mah is still good enough at this price and the specs.
