Image of sleek Samsung Galaxy S6 appears on Instagram, confirms metal build

Friday afternoon, Samsung posted a picture on its Instagram site that shows what most likely is the Samsung Galaxy S6. The phone is shown in profile, revealing a thin design. And in the background we see some sort of metal which confirms that Samsung has finally decided to listen to the multitude of customers who were getting tired with the plastic build employed for Samsung's most recent flagship models...

I'm curious as to how you can even tell, seeing as this seems to be a side view of the device, giving no indication whatsoever of what the front could be like.

Pretty sure he is kidding, given all the ludicrous comments on bezels lately. It's like someone thinks they have to mention the word 'bezels' to seem intelligent.

Ah, very well. The possibility of it being sarcasm had crossed my mind. Nonetheless, one cannot be too sure with so many...unreasonable people commenting on this site already.

The Iphone killer wont be a single device if it is it will have to be the hololens of smartphones.

not is sales , nothing can match iPhone in sales, it's the best selling device in history and will continue to be so.

Get used to it on all phones that keep driving down the physical dimensions of the phone by making them thinner, the camera modules don't shrink with them, so it's a physical limitation that they have to protrude to have enough space to fit.

It's possible to make it not protruding. They choose not to invest in it.

Let's hope it's different from those inconsistent renders with the cases, that either had inverted LED flash placements, misaligned home buttons on the bottom bezel, or different sized bezels.

how hard is it to get removable battery to just slide in like a sim card inside the phone. It will be hot swap and still have the uniform body so no flimsy back covers popping out when you drop your phone. Think for a minute! it is possible to do it. if Samsung could implement this they would have won 100% on March 1st.. Now im not sure.

the phone would be relatively thicker if it was a slide in slide out battery. the best way to do that would have the battery slimmed down significantly while holding the same capacity but that would take quite a bit of R&D and time

Hope it's not fake teaser ads, i love samsung - my first galaxy phone was galaxy s2, galaxy note 10.1 and then galaxy note 3. Changed to htc m8 cause i feel bored after using samsung device for many years... I'm regret it later, i really love samsung device, i think it has many useful features, really nice camera and superb audio quality.

What happened to those "toilet" Leaks? The person who leaked that image had a hard time doing it.

Looks kind of like a phone sized ipad in that side pic. I like the water splash design better though. I think that one looks slick.
