One way you can tell which phone is the V30 is in the pictures taken with the rear camera the V30 is always slightly closer to all of the subjects because of it's slightly longer lens mm. Same in the reverse of the selfie pics as it has the widest field of view.

For these camera comparisons, I would like to see Phone Arena acquire a DSLR camera, nothing fancy, as a point of reference to remove the conflictions between how blue the sky was or how green green the plant was, or how bright the sun was.

Of course, we could have just used a DSLR (we have a few in the office), but which one? A Canon shoots different colors than a Nikon when you look at JPEGs straight out the camera. And then Sony, Panasonic and Olympus all have different colors for the same scene. What I am trying to say is that there is no one standard for how colors should look. And what's worse, sometimes accurate photos don't actually look good and people generally prefer to see photos with warmer color. So... it's complicated, but at the moment, I think the best solution is just to pick the photo you think looks best. Even though it may not be the most accurate one.

Victor, would it be possible for you to include full size original photos for comparison next time? You guys use to do several years ago and it make comparing so much easier. Without the full size photos, you are only going to be comparing the brightness, color, HDR but not the sharpness and clarity.

They are actually adding a link for the full sized pictures You may notice it in the text above the photos. In case you still didn't notice them, here is the link : https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipM102VVhJ_giDU6DHfmPsogitT7vdpPBlHZj5sC168ICSCPiWmRgxnaI8cSpfTpkA?key=aFNxSm1kNURSTWltZjNaUnFwWlEyRU56U0M3LWNB

They all seem pretty bad - take scene 1. First photo too yellow, second overexposed, third too much contrast.

People seem to like the really saturated photos more then the natural photos. My guess is the photos that are least saturated are the LG. I think the IPhone will end up on top.

Perfect white balance, Colors and contrast in the iPhone X Greenish look and dull (no pure whites) in most of the pics for the Note 8 Purplish look and over sharpening for the LG.

only V30 has 16 mp, you can see it in original photos. V30 has majority of votes only in 9 scene with the road. V30 is not the total winner

One phone ruins the other two here. Don't know which one it is but one phone will win by a big margin.

SO when are the results coming? Problem with these is you take too long with the results and people lose interest....

I don't think a backwards selfie is worth posting anywhere. Instant fail on 2 of 3 devices.

Glad I got the iPhone X. Took this test blind and most of the pictures I picked were ones taken with the X. The camera is really awesome on the X. To each their own and if you have the Pixel 2 XL or Note 8, I'm sure your phone does other wonderful things but the most important thing to me is camera and the shots I like best are what I have on my phone now.
