I believe that the Moto X 2014 has the best benchmarks of any Android Smartphone. They should do the comparison between the iPhone and the Moto X.

I call BS on those benchmarks, 44000 is above every other S801 device, by almost 5000. Moto Boost is their new well implemented to feature to complement Moto Display and other features.

s5 is doing If I had to guesstimate a million other things also. the iPhone isn't doing anything because it can't thus leaving power to do that one exact thing. s5> bb classic>one> s2> iphone6

I am curious about the difference in Dalvik & Art in startup speed. Switched to ART on my Nexus 5 but can't really tell the difference yet.

Are you able to use Xposed on ART and all the apps you use?

Xposed doesn't work with ART, the dev seems to be working on it though. The module I liked most, is Tinted status bar, but since Paranoid rom offers similar option, I switched to ART. I do use quite a lot of apps & games, only came across one small issue with Maildroid. Colored themes are not supported by ART yet, but the app works well (in the default color). Also you have to consider if it's worth it for now, not really noticing speed improvements, which is hard to tell with no direct comparison near. But it does take up more of your storage. Also after a system update, all the apps are going to be recompiled first time you start the phone after an update.

Same here. Never really noticed a difference when I switched.

ART is beta and not optimized in 4.4.x. But it's showing solid improvements over Dalvik in 5.0.

Tedkord, Are you a beta tester for "L", or are you just referencing online reports?

Just online reports. Should have made that clear.

Guys is not about hardware! Apple knows that their processor are not as fast as android phones, they have to tweak their apps in order to work fine with their processor, while android one's have to load the full data and package of it apps! In real performing Apple would stay as a loser, instead Samsung, well we know! Samsung is a beast.

One question, John. Why was it that every test the iPhone won, you mentioned the S4 "lagged," but you never once used the word lag for the iPhone losses? Hmm...

I noticed that too, there was no lag in either device. One was simply quicker at certain things, it's flame war bait bro...that's all.

What's lost in these comparisons is that the differences in speed are so small. Pretty much any flagship gives you a great experience.

Yep, I could see if it was like 10 seconds lol, it wasn't even worth mentioning. I was more interested in how they looked next to each other.

Both phones are lights out, both rock, and both are top notch winners. Beautiful devices as well. White/silver Iphone is the best looking Iphone to me, electric blue GS5 best looking GS5.

Stahp being fake. Be a real Dark Jedi.

You do know the Force & Jedi's only exist in the Star Wars universe, which is a fictional one?

You do know that some people actually practice Jedi as a religion.

Some people eat the penis of an unicorn thinking it will make them vital, doesn't mean they should be taken seriously.
