iPad 4 – is it worth upgrading?

Boy, now that's what you call a surprise! Apple just announced an upgraded iPad model – the fourth-generation iPad or the iPad 4, if you wish to call it that, with better internals and enhanced wireless connectivity. The unveiling comes only about 7 months after the previous iPad was made official, and we bet that the great majority of the ones witnessing the event didn't see this coming. In fact, we are sure that many an iPad owner are now holding on to their third-gen iPads wondering whether it is worth dropping another $500 or more on a new new iPad, or sticking with the old one would be the wiser thing to do...

If Sprint keeps their unlimited data ... this could be huge for them.

Sprint doesnt offer unlimited data on tablet just on phones and not on the hotspot feature for the phone. So that is not a selling point getting rid of my tablet account because its not worth it and to expensive. Just wifi or hotspot on my nexus will do. May even jump to ATT for the price im paying sprint.

Now lets start speculating what the iPad 5 will have. 1. In Cell display (helps battery life) 2. Same black coloring on the back(to match the iPhone) 3. 8 megapixel back camera 4. I'm guessing an improved processor, but I'm not sure if it would be quad or a customized dual core. I honestly have no idea what else they could do. I'm also guessing they won't be announcing a new one til this time next year. They must rearranging their announcement cycles.

I'm wondering about the release cycle too, but this is simply a refresh of the big iPad. Easy camera swap, and new cutout for the lightening connector, and beefed up chip. I'd bet they'll still have a new redesigned one in march/April.

I have an iPad 3, so there's no need to upgrade but I'm getting the mini for my son.

a lot of people so negative about apple... its just the rule of being famous... "if you have thousands of fans, expect to have thousands of haters" im pretty sure that iPad mini and iPad 4 will still be at the top coz its an iDevice... a device that really looks and feels premium --- dont look cheap coz of plastic body! and im pretty sure that iPad mini will sell hot coz it will be available worldwide before the year end...while nexus 7 and kindle fire HD isnt available in my country...you need to order on amazon or whatever retail store and pay double..while iPad mini will be price a little higher than its original price!
