You can just download the iOS you don't have to get in line to do it...

Gotta say I'm more impressed with the 5S by the day. Judging it by it's cover and hell nawww, it's the same old again, but actually both SW improved (hate the colorful looks though) and performance is just incredible, Apple really outdid themselves here. And the fingerprint scanner... just works, easy unlock in a flash. The reason I'm staying the Nexus user I am is the small screen, I just don't wanna go under 5" anymore (not that I'm even there with the 4.65", but it's a matter of weeks).

The results speak for themselves.

And after the fragmentation, as the number of feature increases... here come the lags! :) (just joking... the difference is small)

It took 12 seconds to open the settings yesterday on the iPhone 4. Imagine how long it took to turn on WiFi.

My iPad 3rd Gen 64GB unit slowed down drastically right after the update. It took forever to do anything. I figured that it was probably rebuilding indices, caches, etc. So, I left it alone for a while. After about 20 minutes, it was usable again. I did find things to still be a little less responsive, but this is just the first release, and they can still optimize things.

hmmm even on the Iphone 4 it still doesn't show much of a change but seems like it causing it to load slower than normal. but slight lag shouldn't be that bad for a phone

i saw some lag on iP4S, but its minimal. I just hope some iPhone users like my friend accepts that. And be blinded and say no there is not. :) Anyway, Cheers for iOS 7..

see haven't i said don't waste your time guys upgrading.. nothing really change except adding +1 on the name to make it 7. im pretty sure the apple's innovation team is under pressured right now by the board. anyways as per report more than 70% of iphone and ipad users are now on ios7..not surprising.. in the first place who are these users? what these users think, whats there i.q, know there status, you will get the answer.

I'd like to see that too. For people with that or the 4, upgrading could be damaging in some ways, a heads up would help.

My iPad 4 seems slower to get to any site which drives me crazy.

That was part of Apple's plan. Now, you will be ready to move to the new iPad (5?) when it ships. Like sheep to being sheared. Welcome to life in Apple-land.

I assure you I'm no apple guy but the iPad is a great piece of hardware.. Shouldn't be laggy or delayed. If it doesn't get fixed I may stop using it all together.. I use my pro more but the iPad was great for light things at home.

I wasn't saying you were an apple guy. Just welcoming you to Apple-land.

"Good thing I didn't update my wife's iPhone 4 eh?" Smartest move you have made this week. If you had upgraded your wife's iPhone 4, you would have been on the hook for a 5S for all the misery you would have gotten for the effort.

this seems crazy... i have the ipad 2 16gb and it works perfectly. it did take about 30 mins to install iOS 7 but i promise you have no single problem... not sure why you are having a bad experience.

The iPhone 4 in my house was slow to begin with, and even slower after iOS 7. Thanks Apple.

But keep in mind that iPhone 4 is three years old and only runs a single core

If the software makes the user experience worse, it shouldn't have been pushed in the first place. iPhone barely has 100 photos and no music, and it takes a few seconds longer to load apps or the phone simply freezes for 15 seconds. I know it's running on a A4 chip, but damn I'm a little disappointed.

And the version of iOS7 they received was stripped down as well, this shouldn't be happening.
