I’m here for it, whether it’s running Google Mobile Services, an open source version of Android, or HarmonyOS (doubt it will be running HarmonyOS, though). I am interested to see Huawei’s workaround for adding Google apps. It’s a real shame that Huawei is caught in the middle of this political BS and propaganda, as the real users are the consumers, having now to have our choices forcibly limited.

Why you are just doubting that it'll run HarmonyOS when everything says it won't beats me. Funny. They're caught-up, alright. You kept on repeating the same line on every article; doesn't it get tiring?

The pain that my comments are causing you in a certain area on your body is duly noted. I can recommend a certain cream for what ails you, as well as a certain Internet Form where you can make note of your displeasure of the pain this comment has caused you.

Cause me pains? Lol. Not in a lifetime will I let you do that. Whatever makes you happy, mate. Even if it's flooding, go for it!

Lmao clearly it has, or you wouldn't have bothered to make your initial response, mate.

I see that I'm not the only one who is seeing a repetitive pattern here. Of course he's going to give himself a thumbs up with his other accounts.

You mean like your repetitive patterns of attacking Huawei every chance you get? Dial down the hypocrisy. And you are known multi-account user (most are banned now), so don’t project your ways onto me.

No, I mean like your repetitive patterns of attacking the Pixel just because your Pureview wasn't up to par and I made you run from it to the OnePlus while you continue to ride the Huawei apologists bandwagon. And don't try to project your multiple accounts thing on me. This is the only account I have ever had. Stop making stuff up.

No, you really mean YOUR repetitive attacks on Huawei, Nokia, LG, and BlackBerry, all because I favor them. Let’s not talk about something not being up to par, because I made you abandon the flagship Pixels and jump on the OnePlus and Nokia bandwagon, which you now have returned to being a Pixel apologist with the midrange Pixels and riding the Google bandwagon. And EVERYONE here knows who you really are and how many accounts you’ve had here. You’re only fooling yourself by making up otherwise.

Huawei sure knows how to lie telling everyone they will use a new OS that can compete with Google. Turns out they will just use a forked version of Android. I'm not sorry for the CEO for being arrogant and now trying their way to still use Android apps.

I agree. They are very shady.

There is no completion between Huawei and Google. Huawei makes better smartphones than Google does, and they sell more than Googles by far. Huawei also went on record as saying that they aren’t using HarmonyOS as of now for smartphones, so I don’t know what you’re getting at.

Lol, there's so much "completion" in the smartphone world. First of all, that's YOUR opinion, not a fact. Just because YOU think Huawei is better, spoiler alert they aren't, doesn't mean that someone else is going to think the same thing. You're not the only one who is entitled to an opinion.

Lmao Google isn’t competition for Huawei. This is a FACT that’s based on many things, such as smartphone comparisons, feature set in said smartphones, as well as how large Huawei is compared to Google in relation to what Huawei has their hands in compared to Google. Your “opinion” does not equate to the facts. Stop being emotional and use the facts about each company and what they have done, are doing, and what they are capable of to make an informed decision. New flash: You don’t have to agree with the truth for it to remain the truth.

Not my fault if autocorrect failed you in your moment of trash talking. Spend less time being a RHT and more time getting your words right. Did you just say that Google, a company with a huge reach compared to Huawei who only has a footprint in the technology industry? You're just blinded by your own opinion trying to pass it off as a fact. Maybe you should take your own advice and stop being so emotional over something so trivial. Let it go. News flash, you don't have to go against everything just because it conflicts with your own opinion. You are not the only person who exists that uses tech so get over it.

Lmao when you learn to use proper punctuation when you’re being a MAT that trash talks, look me up. Huawei has a HUGE footprint in SEVERAL areas of the technological industry, with larger headquarters, and a whole college. They spend more on R&D than Google does, and has far more employees dedicated to it. What Industry does Google reach outside of advertising and data mining that Huawei doesn’t? You’re blinded by your fanboyism to the facts. You should definitely take my advice and stop being so emotional and try to apply more logic, and stop being so immature as to attack everything I favor simply because I favor it. Let it go. Get over it. And who said I’m the only person to use tech? You sound ridiculous making stuff up now.

when Huawei has said that They using Harmony OS only if Android is blocked from them. Nowhere has it been said that the Mate 30 would use it, it is not ready yet

If Huawei wouldn't have been in cohorts with the Chinese government along with being a shady company, they wouldn't be in this predicament. It's not political propaganda bs or anything that's forcing us to have less choices. I have plenty of different OEMs and devices to choose from that are miles better than what Huawei could provide.

Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook, to name a few, are cohorts of the U.S. government, with backdoors in their products, so let’s dial down the hypocrisy of calling one company “shady”. And instead of choosing excerpts of my comments to place in yours as a way of trying to disprove what I said, why not respond to me directly? It’s definitely political BS and propaganda that has Huawei in the middle of this, as you still cannot provide solid proof of Huawei doing what you say they have done. And one less OEM to buy from in the U.S. because of this BS is indeed out choices being forcibly limited. Literally. And NO, there aren’t any OEM’s “miles better....” than Huawei. There is a reason why they are the #2 smartphone OEM in the world.

Where in my comment did I say or imply that they were innocent? Stop making crap up and deflecting from the point. Dial down the hypocrisy you say, you first. Why don't you stop being paranoid. I never mentioned your name at all and I'm certainly not afraid to put you in your place each and every time you post. It's not political bs. You act like Huawei was a major player in the US. They aren't. They're only big in China. Once again, stop trying to twist things to further your Huawei Defense agenda. Yes there OEMs who are miles better than Huawei. Opinion remember.

No one said that you did say they were innocent. Stop changing the facts to suit your false narrative. But it is hypocritical to keep pointing the finger at Huawei about being shady and working with their government when your favored Google is doing the same thing you claim Huawei is doing. And stop deflecting from what? This article isn’t about whether Huawei works with China or not, so you are the one that deflecting from the entire article. Why don’t you own up to what you’re doing for once. It’s clear as day that you were referring to me with your comment. If you’re not afraid, then address me directly the first time and stop with the potshots. You’ve never put me in my place, as you are the one that usually runs off the articles. This one will be no different. It is political BS, and anyone with a modicum of what’s called “thinking for yourself” can see it. I never once even pretended that Huawei was a “major player in the U.S.”, much less acted like it, but let’s not pretend like a choice isn’t being forcibly removed. They aren’t “only big in China”. They have a large presence in Europe as well, as well as big enough presence in India through their Honor Sub Brand. Once again, stop trying to twist things to further your Huawei Hater agenda. NO, their aren’t OEM’s that are miles better than Huawei. Opinions don’t equal facts.

But you brought them up implying it. Don't try to backtrack now. Own up to what you said instead of chickening your way out. Google isn't stealing data for a communist country. Yes, Google has a crap ton of data on us, but most of that data is aggregated for marketing purposes to show you relevant ads. You don't HAVE to use Google services. You don't have to use Facebook. You're just trying to backtrack after getting called out. I'm addressing you right now and I addressed you multiple times in this article. Quit make sh- up already. You are just being paranoid just because you think you are the center of the universe. Newsflash, you aren't important. You're just someone I continue to bury on a daily basis. I'm not running at all. It's not political bs. That's just your bias talking. Again. A choice isn't being removed considering the fact that there are so many devices available for consumers that isn't from a shady company that is looking to give up your data to their own country. They are not as big as you think. Stop trying to make Huawei something that they are not. There are many OEMs that are better than Huawei. You can't say otherwise and call it a fact.

I never implied anything, I pointed out facts, so stop changing the facts to suit your false narrative. And let’s not talk about chickening out when you rather take sneaky potshots than address me directly, lol. Google is taking your data, whether you realize it or not. Them doing it when you don’t know is or without consent is stealing. Whether it’s for a country that’s communist or not isn’t the point. They are doing it for a government that doesn’t give 2 fcks about its own citizens. You sound like a Google apologist on high defending what they do and deflecting from it. And the same way you say you don’t have to use Google services, you don’t have to use a Huawei smartphone. You’re just deflecting and backtracking after being called out. Lmao the only reason you’re addressing me now is because I called you out on your potshots. If I never did, you’d be very content with not doing so, so cut the BS. You use the same exact words phrased the same way I put them to sneak shots at me, and play the victim role when it gets pointed out. Newsflash: You’re not fooling anyone when you do that. All you wind up doing is deflecting and playing the cowardly victim role, and then you eventually run off when the verbal lashing becomes too much for you to handle. It is political BS. You saying is not is you just having your bias talk for you again, as well as allowing yourself to be spoon fed all of this propaganda. If something is taken away that was once freely and by consumers, it’s a choice being removed. There is NO LOGICAL WAY you can it’s not. It’s the very definition of choice being removed, no matter how many other choices are out there. You really are making this up as you go along to defend your bias. ALL of these companies are shady, companies like Google allow backdoors onto their products so the government can steal your data, so dial down the hypocrisy. Huawei is much bigger than you’ll ever care to admit. Stop trying to make them something that they are not. There are not “many” OEM’s that are better than Huawei, and I can factually say this based on measures metrics.

"If Huawei wouldn't have been in cohorts with the Chinese government" So by your view Google should be banned as well, they have been working directly with the Chinese government for the last 2 years. Members high up in the US military even went public calling them traitors, why arn't they banned?

So when did I say or imply that Google was innocent? You're just deflecting now. Google has been held accountable many times before. Your point?

Humm, who buys these anymore (outside asia) ? I wouldn't use one even if they gave it to me for free and pay me daily. So glad their marketing didn't get to me :))

I agree. You have a select few who follow Huawei like a cult and throw tantrums just because you speak the truth about them.

There are plenty of people outside of Asia that buy them. Huawei as a good presence in Europe, much larger than say, Google with it’s Pixels, of which you have a select few that have cult like behavior and throw tantrums just because one mentions the truth about them.

See what I mean lol? Tantrums and deflection just because you said something that they disagree with. Pixels have nothing to do with this yet some people can't help but bring them up just to further their Huawei Defense Force agenda.

38. meanestgenius

Posts: 22020; Member since: May 28, 2014

Lmao see what I mean? Tantrums and pure deflection just because I said something that they don’t like. We are talking about smartphones, and I’m bringing up points for comparisons sake, and the Pixel Apologists are getting offended and trying to further their own agenda.
