Huawei chief trolls the iPhone 6 Plus, flaunts the Mate7 superior screen-to-body ratio

Apple's first phablet was chosen by Huawei's CEO to compare the Mate 7 with not only with dry dimension numbers, but side-by-side, too. Plastered on its Weibo page, Huawei's boss exemplifies how compact for the screen size the Mate 7 is (or how big the 6 Plus, depending on the perspective) by snapping a few pictures of the phablets sitting next to each other...

Good post bro, 100% true and accurate. People speak with their wallets, not internet insults, and those wallets choose apple most of the time.

They choose it because having an Apple product is a status symbol, not for the features. You can't possibly believe that Apple products are chosen for their features. They have clever marketing too.

Don't know/care why they choose it, they choose it.

its not 4 mil people thats 4 mil people and store stock. the 5 or 5s cant remember only sold 2 mil and so unless 5 and 5s and 4 and 4s are all getting new phones its a fake apple number they wont say the real numbers to who they just say over 4 mil in 24hrs. i did see the mate 7 hands on and the touch sensor is really the best in the mobile world touch and it turns device on so fast, apple you have to tap and push botton to wake samsung you need to push botton then swipe.

and there are not that many ip5 and ip5s people out there going to pay over 1g for the phone because they are still in contract, thats how you know this is a fake number.

Given the resale market for iPhones and widespread fanfare going on for Apple you'd be surprised how many people are willing to pay for the top spec iPhone. As for your reasoning above... you do realise certain Android people switch to iPhone right? Then there are people who switched to Android and went back to iPhone because they can finally have the device they wanted all along. An iPhone with a reasonably big screen. At least one that doesn't require them to... squint lol..

brother I agree with everything what you said except the word "top spec iphone"... iphone was top spec in 2010 when iphone 4 was launch but since than iphone is not top spec, it is midrange spec with 2012 hardware and marketing gimmick terminologies like isight, retina and many more

People don't give damn f**k about bezels but overall size(for better handling)matters to them... It mattered most to apple fans until 9-9-2014....lol..... don't compare sales of iphone to make a point....because people will buy whateva apple throws at them....

yes thats strangly true, ifans will really buy whatever apple will throws at them... before 3.5inch was the perfect size bcoz apple throws at them... then 4inch became perfect bcoz apple throws at them... now 4.7 & 5.5inch become perfect size bcoz apple throws at them... in future 100inch will be perfect for them if apple throws at them

Show me one Apple fan that is open minded. You have a ton of them on PA like Mxy and Jake Lee and the rest that go around bashing everything that isn't made by Apple. Hopefully you're sick of them too. I know I am. And while that 4 million in 24 hours is nice, let's wait until we have some hard numbers to look at. As in actual sales to end users. I also doubt that Apple will have sustained sales like that. But why such anger? He gave his opinion. I think it's a bezel butt fugly beast too. Are you going to curse at me? Are you going to show such anger to your Apple loving brethren that troll everything that's not Apple?

I'm going to hit you with the same post I hit Darkk with. But I don't really expect a response. You iF@nboys stick together. It's amazing how you can get angry when Android fans troll iPhone posts, but it's all good when iPhone f@nboys troll Android and other posts? I don't see you up in arms when your iPhone brethren do it. But then again, trolls of a feather troll together.

With the protectionism going on in both nations it's hard to tell what allegations have any semblance of actual fact. Unlike Xiaomi both Apple and Huawei haven't been caught red handed with government spyware. Although granted, Huawei has Chinese government connections,

Kinda like Apple and the US government... I'm certainly no fan of the Chinese, and will not defend their one-party tyranny, but you need to sweep your own doorstep first!

I think chinese government's spying and banning huawei to show some defensive measure is just a propaganda to divert the attention of people from US government's dirty work and alleged cooperation of US companies... but thanks to Snowdon who busted them... may be chinese government do spying but what we hear from US is mostly a propoganda to cover itself... what I have noticed, usually US agencies are behind the troubles for some hidden objective but they show different picture to the world

Mate 7 VS IPhone 6 Plus is like comparing a Hyundai Sonata to a BMW 7 Series. Huawei is not in the same league.

25. engineer-1701d unregistered

no its like the hyundai equus vs bmw 7 and if you dont know anything about cars dont post, equus is better. look it up.

Lol I'm a hyundai fan but it's not better, it's good bills the dash is bland and the suspension/performance isn't up to BMW league. I'm a car guy so don't try and feed that bs
