So the Kirin 930 is basically a Snapdragon 615 with all cores overclocked by 500MHz? Can't wait to see the benchmarks

It should perform better than the 615. Because the a53 cores clocked at 2GHz are suppose to some new enhanced Version of the a53 called a53e cores.

It has better GPU (but still below Adreno 330/420).

It's a bit faster than MT6752 both CPU and GPU wise. http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/search?q=HUAWEI+HUAWEI+GRA-L09 That one below Mediapad X2's GPU benchmarks which also used Kirin 930. http://gfxbench.com/device.jsp?benchmark=gfx31&os=Android&api=gl&did=25418082&D=Huawei%20GEM-703L%20MediaPad%20X2

It looks like a nice phone. Only thing I might find it weird is that 2680mAh battery. Plus this combo : 5.2" 1080 x 1920-pixel Full HD display, win win! You're improving Huawei that's good. Keep it up.

If they can't get their phones in the hands of folks here in the US then their success won't be enough to complete with the other big players

The screen may have ~78 screen to body ratio and be slightly slimmer than the S5 but we know which is the better phone, has the better processor, battery life etc.

At least they came up with an original design, unlike a certain other company.

Screen to body raio is 71,4%.

Better processor: You won't feel the difference in real life since both of them have 3gb ram, multitasking requires more ram and not more processing speed by today's standard. Battery life: Full HD using 2600mAh with battery conserving powerwall while Sammy uses QHD with 2500mAh. Both are premium and offer same functions but the other one charges less. Popular doesn't mean it's better.

Please Huawei, bring finally phone with good audio quality. It looks fantastic, has sd support so it'd be nice to be able to listen music in good quality.

phone is NOT made to listen music .. get music player ..

Why carry a music player around if your phone can do the job? Not everyone lugs around a purse full of gadgets everywhere they go.

but phones has acceptable sound .. mine mate 7 sound great .. I also needs great headphones not some crappy earphones..

You must be using their mid range phones. I've tried their p7 before for mp3 testing and it was good. Pair it with a high quality earphones and you'll have balanced listening with proper bass equalizing.

The phone looks awesome but I'm a bit disappointed by the GPU. They claim 100% improvement on the P7, which equates to about 35-40% of the performance of the GPU in the Galaxy S6. From the figures I guess they have switched out the Mali-T628 MP4 in the Kirin 930 and put in a Mali-T628 MP6 with the 935. CPU performance should be solid through! Expecting around 1,000 in geekbench single and between 4500 - 5000 in multi - not too shabby!

It's the same GPU which you can find in the Galaxy Alpha. It's nice but far from the best on the market (it's even below Adreno 330/420).
