And it's going to be more affordable than Honor P20 at similar specs.

Great looking device that checks a lot of marks. But the update situation on my Mate 9 has been spotty that I don't think I'd toss money their way again.

Yeah the Mate 9 updates were practically non existent. I think I had two in a year and the last security update was from last Spring. Unacceptable on their part. Great device but lacking updates. Only Google Pixel phones again from here on out. Pure Android can't be beat.

Obviously $1000 phones have their market. Those who want them will buy them, iPhone X for example...selling like hotcakes. Just like cars, you have budget to exoticly priced.

But this isn't even a $1000 phone. Even with tax it's below $900.

Yes they are until people say enough. Apple may be seeing that with lower than expected iPhone X sales.

The phone is too expensive for what it does. The competition from Samsung, Google, and Apple is just too strong. Heck even the OnePlus 5T give it a run for its money. I would take the OnePlus 5T over this any day.

It's comparable to the other flagships as it has similar specs and build quality and the OP5T give top of the line phones all a run for their money.

Mate 10 preloaded with Microsoft apps would be winning formula for those who don't like the EMUI.

The international version of non pro is actually pretty low on bloat ware and you can uninstall most of them

I would love to buy a mate 10 pro but it won't work on my wireless carrier. Really feeling the blue and the brown mate 10 pro. It has every feature I could want except wireless charging and even has treble support which should improve the update situation with Huawei.
