Not sure about the amps data being correct. From what I understood in the research I have done, amps are "drawn" by the device. So if you provide a charger with more amps, it will only draw the amps specified. e.g. Using a 2.1A tablet charger on a 1.5A phone will not cause it to charge faster than on a 1.5A charger, it will still draw 1.5A from the 2.1A charger.

Correct My point being was, to get the most out of your charging without *wasting* any Amp current (eg poorly constructed USB cable), it is best to stick to the original chargers that came with your device

Or just bring a portable external battery charger for emergencies. I put one of the ravpower luster 3,000mAh in my purse for daily use.

Recently, I started using an app called Battery Doctor [same developer as Clean Master] on my Chinese android phone & galaxy tab. It is a battery saver and charging optimizer. I was surprised that my tablet charges more quickly on standby using Battery Doctor than what it does when switched off. In general, I find charging is quicker using non-propietary wall chargers [i.e. wall chargers with higher mAh]. When travelling with my phone, I take a second battery & external charger.

I always see 2 versions of the same story... it is safe to charge a phone with a tablet charger/it isn't. So will I have any problem if I charge daily my Moto G with my galaxy note 8.0 charger? The moto G charger takes forever to charge with its original charger.
