How the rumor mill made out with the iPhone X; KGI's Kuo had the best leak of the year in February

0. phoneArena posted on 12 Sep 2017, 15:49

If you felt a little blah about the 2017 Apple iPhone line up after today's event, perhaps this was due to the lack of any major surprises. The rumor mill, especially over the last 6 weeks, leaked some pretty good information about what Apple would announce today. And as we moved into September, we finally learned that the 10th anniversary model would be called the Apple iPhone X (pronounced "Ten")...

Who needs rumors when you have the best Apple insider(Bankz) telling us 7 months ago what features the iPhone X will be equipped with.

I honestly found it quite odd that they forgot to talk about the fps placed underneath the screen during the keynote.

They ran out of time because they needed to make chicken sounds at the phone. It was totally planned though. Totally.

Ahahaha, I noticed he has been posting less and less since rumors that conflicted with his Apple Insider info started appearing.

Probably still embarrassed by the 'iPhone 8 will have true distance charging' or 'iPhone 8 will have an embedded fps' b/s he spewed daily.

You just forgot to mention other insiders of Apple like cnour, apple-rulz, piyath.

That happens literally every year. Once the new ones are announced, the market adjusts for the window that less people will be buying iPhones due to waiting for the new releases. Common sense goes to show that Apple's sales numbers decrease in anticipation for the next model.

The rumor mill did an excellent job, not many surprises to the event.

I am now at the conclusion that this was a decent to weak launch on Apple's part. I don't feel motivated to buy a 256GB model for $1149 as a 512GB should cost that much

At least they are starting out at 64gb of storage... But then there's no 128gb... Why???

They're using the same tactic that they used on the iPhone 6-6s.

For the first time nothing, not even the official name of the iPhone was an incorrect assumption. I'm only surprised Tim cook didn't make a sarcastic sneer at the rumor mills.
