Do you upgrade often? Or do you run with a daily driver for years on end?

I just upgraded from the iPhone SE to the iPhone X. I purchased it refurbished and my unit was in excellent condition, it looked almost brand new! The OG iPhone X is such a better buy than the XR, which is what I was originally going to buy, because I wanted current gen hardware. But honestly, Apple does a much better job at supporting their devices and last year’s iPhone X is still a very capable device.

Congrats! As a former SE owner, I would say that the X is the best way to get the new iPhone hardware. I tried the Xr and it's nice too but way big coming from a phone like the SE.

Still using a Note 4. Second one. Switched from Sprint to Verizon. There has still not been a new phone with any new features worth upgrading to.

Surely the question to have asked was "how old was your last phone when you changed it?".

I was on the LGV20 for approximately 2 years, just upgraded to the Iphone 6s plus on Nov.26 last week. I'm experimenting with the Apple platform(I also own a 2012 Macbook Pro) to see if the Apple platform is worth all the hype it gets. I chose the 6s plus because the included headphone jack and the hype about IOS 12 making older iphones run smooth. I'm still in the novice stage regarding iphones and macbook pros. I miss my v20 already.

Are we talking how old the device is or how long I've had it? My LG g5 is over 24 months old but I've had it for about 5 months (bought it used on swappa for a $100). Where does that fall?

I have gone from a yearly upgrade to almost a two year upgrade path. Used to be that an Android upgrade always made my phone worse, not better. That has changed, especially with my Pixel. I also will not jump at the first 5G phone, I will wait for a little refinement. I don't want to be the beta tester anymore at a thousand + bucks a pop

My main phone is a galaxy note 4, one of best notes of all time. Second I have a J7 pro.(camera not too good as the note 4).
