Watch out OnePlus 6T, the Honor View 20 isn’t messing around [hands-on]

Kicking off the new year, Honor is taking much of the attention during a relatively low-key affair for mobile at CES 2019. After the impressive release of the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, the Honor View 20 seems to be delivering many of the same experiences found with those two phones.

Stock Android is featureless and boring. You people that love stock android truly baffle me. Meanwhile Huawei will be preventing 3rd party launchers from emui 9. Now that's a major mistake.

That's only for the Chinese variant, the international variant has no issues with 3rd party launchers.

My mate 20 begs to differ. It's faster than any iPhone I have had in my hands(recently iphone 8 owner for a year). Its super smooth, no bugs, and I have seen no clutter whatsoever. Well done Huawei, well done.

A big part of why OnePlus owners buy their phones is OxygenOS. So no Honor and Huawei phone is a consideration for them. If i really had to buy a phone with Bloated UI, i would rather go with Samsung. Not to mention all the concerns surrounding Huawei/Honor now a days + their pathetic software support

You call it bloat, I call it useful features.

Sample pics were not great. They need OIS for the camera, and that would match up with OP and give them a good run.

While on paper the camera sounds decent, I'm not sure about how detailed the photos will be compared to a good quality 12MP from Samsung/Google/Apple.

My Honor View 10 is smooth, never stutters. EMUI 8 isn't the best, but it's fluid and works without issue
