Here's what Sony's Xperia Z3 Compact looks like under a microscope
Even if you don’t plan to buy a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, you’re probably curious to know what the smartphone looks like under a microscope. A Z3 Compact owner took the time to inspect the device at magnification up to 200x, and posted the resulting photos over at the XDA Developers forum.

We can see images of the display, side buttons, headset jack, and the cameras, among other things - check them all out in the slideshow below (zoom is available).

Launched in some markets last month, the Xperia Z3 Compact turned out to be one of Sony’s best smartphones to date. Besides packing a slew of high-end features in a relatively small and water-resistant body, the Z3 Compact also offers outstanding battery life. You can find out much more about it by reading our Xperia Z3 Compact review.

With the Z2, you can actually see those touchscreen panel grid dots in the sun. Weird!

Yep, same with the Z3, and for whatever reason nobody ever mentions this in their review. I'm starting to think that I'm the only one bothered by this incredibly annoying thing.

I don't find it annoying at all. They're not visible if the screen is on and bright anyway.

Same with my G2, even if the screen is on and the surrounding light is dim, but then only from certain angles.

This should be done for all the new phones, gives different perspectives of the devices.

#14 made me think of the scene from Star Trek: The Motion Picture where Enterprise enters V'Ger's and begins her strafing crawl - I mean - run.
