Here's how easy it is to use Samsung Pay

Back in March, when Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, it also unveiled its own mobile payment system, naturally called Samsung Pay. Initially, the South Korean company said that the service would debut sometime this summer, but now it looks like that won't actually happen before September. Until then, in case you're curious to see how Samsung Pay works, the video embedded below is showing exactly that.

The video seems to be made by Samsung, though it has yet to be officially posted anywhere by the company. To use Samsung Pay, you first have to authorize payments by scanning your fingerprint on your Galaxy device, then simply hold the device against a terminal compatible with NFC and MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). And that's all there is to it: your payment is made within seconds. Unsurprisingly, Google's upcoming Android Pay is just as easy to use.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are the first handsets capable of using Samsung Pay, but others will be released soon. For example, the Galaxy Note 5 (expected to be announced this September) will certainly also play nice with the new payment service.
