Here is one likely reason why Apple removed the physical Home button in the iPhone 7

Apple has removed one of the hallmark features of the iPhone in the latest iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and no, we're not even talking about the audio jack. The physical home key, one of the most recognizable elements of an iPhone, is no longer there, at least not in the form it used to be...

"A LIE REPEATED A THOUSAND TIMES BECOMES THE TRUTH" Just wow PA, you just used and rephrased a nazi's statement. A big clap clap clap and a hundred face palm to this.

The reason why did Apple removed the physical home button? Why of course to see Samsung Galaxy S and Note to take the same path in the future. The iPhone killer will have to be an iPhone copycat.

PA, your moderators are the worst in existence. There are blatantly racist comments littered throughout the comments, and what have you done? Nothing! No wonder racist dickheads can come and go as they please here. f**king unacceptable!!!!!!

I have to agree to this. I mean.......its disgusting. The "moderators" are just very slow or....nonexistent. Unacceptable indeed.

What's the big deal? It's a new type of button. It's the same size and shape, same location and does the same things. Plus, it doesn't break as easily. People can't possibly complain about the button. It even mimics the action of the old button.

If you can't afford an iPhone, don't buy one. I don't see the point of getting a device only to use it with so much care that you end up replacing one it's most fundamental interfaces with an onscreen button. To me it's utterly stupid!

why bother searching a reason for them? trying to defend them? even Jonathan and Tim can't find any reason for it, they'll say anything that come to their head if they found any (just look at cheesy reason they use for 3.5mm jack removal, lol)

Have some kind of self respect Phonearena, Dont be Apple's B^%ch. Apple may have removed it for profit or some other reason. But dont mock the intelligence of your readers like this. A majority of the people who actually visits your site are techy and intelligent enough to figure out, apple atleast didint made this change for the sake of its helpless poor customers who were too scared to touch the home button because they could damage it. Please GTFO.
