Here is what a brutally honest smartwatch commercial would look like

0. phoneArena posted on 19 May 2017, 05:30

Cracked's "Honest Commercials" is one of the most brutal voices of honesty and revelation about things from popular culture: it has shown the other side of popular products, the cynical one, the capitalist one, and many would say, the real 'honest' one. And now, it's about to tell you the 'honest' truth about smartwatches...

Ha...yeah, I'd say it'll divide right on that line. Anyone who has one is certainly going to be defensive about blowing all that money...and defensive towards anyone who calls them on it. I WOULD BE TOO! :P

It is all blowing money buying a flagship phone worth more than $650 every year.

People bitching about a product they don't even want... I mean where were you bitching about Watches? The name Smartwatch pretty much explains it, a Watch that can do a bit more than a conventional Watch.

What are people expecting? To throw your phone away? It's a companion piece and I love it for Fitness tracking and notifications personally. I also love how I lost my phone, I can connect to my phones camera and easily see where I left it.

I love my Apple Watch, if you don't want one, fair enough, just stop moaning about a product you don't even want.

I mean he's telling the truth. If you don't want it don't buy it. As simple as that. And if people buy it, it's their money that they spend.

What would we do all day if we weren't allowed to complain about (in our apparently collective opinion) overpriced, overpromised, underdelivering products?

Smartwatches r stupid. No point in buying one of these. Only one smartphone is enough 4 all our needs and it doesn't even have to be a flagship one. Today's midrangers r gud enough all the conventional tasks that we perform on mobile devices.

So you can speak for everyone. You should be doing your homework instead of posting stupid sh$t here, so you can become a productive member of society.

Considering smart watches don't even function as mp3 players Id say this parody is not far off the mark.

Umm, yes they do.

They work fine with bluetooth headphones or speakers.
