Once a device got defective, doesn't mean they will always produce a defective device. Samsung Wave 2 had a massive touch panel problem. I dont know that you know abt it or not. Did anyone stopped buying samsung ? Same as the Galaxy S3 software.

You must've forgotten the case flaws on SGS3 when it was first launched. The truth is still that Samsung did really good marketing. HTC has already admitted that they didn't market the One series very well.

HTC's very first quad core phone announcement got people excited, but took too long to materialize letting other manufacturers announcing their own quad core phones. If HTC bought the phone to the public sooner other than so far later, HTC would have no competition in the quad core device department. Hell, I was waiting for the quad core device the longest time, the moment it was announced a release date a SGS3 was in the work to be release soon.

I always see people talking about lack of sd-card, removable battery, etc etc... They're no longer a big deal as long as the device holds enough internal storage. HTC's battery life has been pretty good to my experience, the 32GB of storage I have on my One X is more than enough. How many movies can you watch in one day that you need so much storage space? Do you really need 32GB or more worth of music on your phone? Once again, it's the business decisions. Why release only a One S on US T-Mobile? Why not a One X on every carrier? That's the reason why HTC's been doing poorly. People wanted choice, HTC didn't give it to them. You want the One X? Go to AT&T.

Performance wise, HTC One X is pretty good on ICS sense 4. It was slower than SGS3, but later made up with sense 4.1 which made it on par with SGS3. (I've tried it, and it's true). HTC doesn't have to do that with their One X until JB 4.1.1 release, but yet they did.

There's many things they could've done to put themselves at the top but they didn't. That's their only failure. Other than the defects that they'll gladly replace, HTC product are great.

only in appearance their designs are better than samsung but software and features arent equall in my opinon.... if samsung let htc build their phones deisgns that would be the ultimate phone

HTC One X+ has 64 gb of storage! is a microsd card still necessary. add to the fact that microsd card read/write speed is slower that flash read/write speed.

therefore movies would be faster, pretty much anything would be faster.

hell, even if that's not enough, HTC One X+ now supports USB OTG out of the box.. Even all of my friends/colleagues who have bought the SGS3 now tell me that they regret buying one after I told them about the HOX+..

The HOX= is a fantastic device . But people still think the GS3 is better because it has a samsung badge on it .
That sucks ! People are not buying phones , people are buying the brand .

Well these folks just looked for the benchmark..

One advice for them- Benchmark isn't everything.

But HTC One X nailed the GS3 in benchmarks after the sense 4.1 update

That's what I used to think about phones without sd card slot. I don't think sd card slot is really a must now if the phone already carries enough storage.

seeing people's comment saying how they love this phone and when galaxy s IV is released, it would be again overshadowed.

Just like what happened to ativ s. When it was announce, people are like, this would be my WP8, and now, they rarely mention the phone. Same thing happened to one x.

is it just me or it seems like in the 2nd pic the screen and the back can disconnect with no lab so there will be a removable baterry or even an sd-card slot inside?

Design is the best on any phablet I have seen. But here lies the real issue.buying a 5 inch phone means you want more from the phone.and that's where Samsung murders the competition with software.to me the bigger a screen on a phone the more multimedia task the phone should be able to accomplish. I can't have a big fon with s2 and iPhone 5 like features. Samsung knows this that's why the note 2 roles.its not just big but its bad ass

true but i guess this is where our opinions differ......Id rather an amazing looking phone with a solid build and "good" software over a phone that just has amazing software but bad build and not so good looks plus a screen that cant compare to an HTC.....

Totally agreee with you. HTC phones may be a bit more expensive.. but when you get it, you won't regret it. Great build quality, and very good software that is very stable.. and sense is beautiful... Touchwhiz? meh. Note 2 and S3- cheapy build quality and not too stable software- even LG is getting better- one example is the Nexus 4, Optimus 4X HD and Optimus G.

I don't think this is any more of a phablet than the GSIII or One X. This is a smartphone. Dimensions of J Butterfly are about the same as the One X. Note 2 is considerably bigger.
