You may want to get this unlocked in your country. American carriers only know 2 phones, samsung and iphone.

The Z5 Compact clearly does not have a metal frame. You can tell because around it's fingerprint scanner there is a metal ring, which the others don't have. They're obviously using the metal frame for that on Z5 and Z5 Premium.

Good point, I also noticed that since the Z5 Premium has glass back with a written "Xperia" on it while the Z5 & Z5c have an "Xperia" only on the the side, then the Xperia Z5 Premium won't have an "Xperia" word engraved on the side.

If the Z5 improves on the camera experience and is coming to T-Mobile, I will gladly trade in my Z3 for one. I wad waiting to go back to Microsoft this fall but all signs point to disappointment in the looks department and I already know what the app and feature situation is like. I would give Sony another shot for sure especially with a matte back and glass front.

Interesting how the title says "you've all been waiting for" instead of "we've all been waiting for". Clearly shows the lack of interest this site has towards Sony phones

These phones are too small... But on the other hand, if Apple doesn't offer anything bigger, why would Sony have to, right?

Z5C looks so thick, but I like it.

Phone arena, (John v) please can you do something about your advertisements on mobile. It's gone too far. I can't scroll down a page with an obtrusive window popping up and covering up the content. I've started using other sites as I can't handle how unfriendly this site has become. Please hear us and action a resolution. I'm certain it will be beneficial to the longevity of your site. Thanks

I might have bitten if it had the SD820. Sony should have delayed these phones for the SD820 to be honest. Unless these phones come dirt cheap like the Moto X style I will have to pass on this. I loved the Z3 though.

Z5 supposed to be all metal on the back !

I'm guessing the Z5c and Z5 have metal backs as they'll be housing the "blazing hot" Snapdragon 810 (to enable better heat dissipation) while Z5 premium which might house the cooler Snapdragon 820 has a glass back as the current Z series. It also makes sense to wait for SD 820 for the Z5 premium so the weight of the 4K screen is carried off by an able and efficient SoC.
