Somehow several third-party email apps manage Exchange accounts very well compared to the OFFICIAL app

OneDrive (great with Windows 10 PC sync), Skype (duh), Outlook. No need for other apps , either google or samsung have better alternatives.

I prefer the official MS Office apps to the alternatives Hyperlapse is also great, but Hyperlapse Pro (PC version) is much better

I've heard of everything listed but use none of them. This is not an option so I choose not to participate.

MS will eventually release an Android phone, just like Blackberry is contemplating?

Doubtful, Microsoft has committed to Windows 10 mobile. But anything is possible.

Yeah Apple will eventually release it's platforms on other phones keep dreaming. But I'm just saying that they already did"Nokia X"series just don't tell anyone.

Microsoft did not make the "Nokia X", Nokia did.

Bull, Microsoft was completely on board with the Nokia X. They wanted to see how well it would or would not take off. Listen any smart phone released with Microsoft's apps an services installed. Do honestly believe Microsoft was not on board with Nokia X. Only a complete idiot would say that Microsoft had nothing to do with those devices.

If Microsoft has anything to do with it, it would have Microsoft branding. Nokia does not currently have the right to brand any phones with "Nokia" but they will in 2016, however they did not give up the right to produce tablets with "Nokia" branding. Microsoft and Nokia are separate companies, only a complete idiot would say otherwise. Microsoft bought Nokia's cellphone division and related technologies, not the entire company.

Dude Nokia is only a brand it's only a name If you open the last Nokia phones like 730/830 it's written Microsoft cooperation in it.

If you look at the most recent phones made with the remnants of the Nokia cellphone division, they all have Microsoft branding, not Nokia.

As all iOS, WP and Android user here, I really found Android and iOS apps to be far superior than WP ones! What about you?

It's Google, not Android. And I hate to break it but Apple's Pages makes me barf. Love Microsoft Word.

It depends on the app in question, many Windows Phone apps crash less frequently on Windows Phone(especially if they are games) than iOS or Android, in my experience anyways. I cannot use Android or iOS as my daily driver, neither as are smooth and clean looking as Windows Phone. And Android always lags over time, so it doesn't matter what launcher you use.

Many official apps are better on Android, but third party apps like 6tag, MetroTube, Fantasia Painter are awesome. What I dislike about WP are the devices. Lumia 930 is as powerful as my LG G2 (which is almost two years old) . :( That's the reason why I bought the G2. None of the WPs were noticeably better than my old Samsung ATIV S.

The Lumia 1020's camera is still not surpassed by any other device(except night shots from the LG G4). The Lumia 1520 has pretty decent specs as well. There are new flagships coming soon. The 950 and 950xl(if microsoft decides to go with this naming scheme).

The Outlook app is horrendous, I can't go past the login/permission screen. You'd think with such a recognizable brand and service they'd at least test them more thoroughly.

I couldn't setup my email, I tried but couldn't get it to work so it was removed fairly quickly.

You do realize that experience varies from devices to device on Android and it may work on certain versions of Android better than others, right?

Why Google won't open their mind and share their apps and services to WP?

Because that's just 3%! Windows 10 universal may change the scenario but it's not certain!

Because they don't want to, and to keep it at 3%. They didn't even make apps for windows 8. Windows 8!

On the other side, they make apps for their biggest competitor, Apple. What an irony.

That's because apple fans will buy iphones/ipads etc etc even if google doesn't make apps for them...google doesn't make much from android, they rely on services for money. Google earns more from ios than android. They don't make apps for windows phone because they don't want it to grow and compete with android....if wp manages to become more popular without google, then they will make apps for it.
