The Sanyo 2700 is their first QWERTY messaging device for the States and will be landing on Sprint May 10th at a bargain price of $29.99
. Aimed squarely at the low end, the phone features a modest 1.3
megapixel camera, 1x data and no memory expansion. With your color options being pink and royal blue
Impulsive Pink and Deep Blue- the former in an inlayed floral pattern (think the LG Lotus
) and the latter a checkered back- we don't expect to see this device in the hands of many legal voters. Still, it features a QVGA display (but only 65k colors), GPS navigation and Sprint Mobile Email, plus Sprint's new Social Zone application which doesn't appear to be fully operational yet. For $30 you could do worse.
