I loved the front speakers with the HK mod. I really don't like metal phones though so I moved to a G3. Next stop will be the Note 4 unless HTC can really put something awesome out.

Can't wait! Sounds like a good lineup. I really hope the Ultra version is real because that is what I want! If not then I will get the regular version. Hurry up and unleash the beasts HTC.

Please make sense the way it was during the desire, sensation, one x. Sense 5 and 6 is very flat and boring. I like the way sense was known for before

But as you may know it used to lag/stutter on desire, sensation and one X devices. 5,5.5 & 6 are buttery smooth and doesn't hang/lag. So I guess they won't change it . And after all sense 6 has almost material design,so I doubt they will go back from here. But I still love to play around somtimes with my old desire and like it.

my one x lagged when it received sense 5, while it was on sense 4 it was faster. i guess i just preffer the older style more than the new one. I commented on htc's fb fanpage before and said i wanted to bring back the weather lockscreen and I got some 120 likes which means many in the htc community still like the old look

Well from what I've seen and used sense 5 was faster on my one x & also to other customers I've given. Don't know how it lagged on yours, I do love the weather lock screen and all the ring shortcuts from the old sense. Let's hope at least they implement the lock screen style of sense 3.0 or 4,4+.

HTC makes the best phones in quality and design. I would even say Sense is in some ways better than stock Android. I hope the M9 doesn't disappoint.

Seriously? HTC consistently receive the lowest possible ifixit scores possible. Indeed the HTC ONE M8 did double the M7's score of 1: it received a 2 (out of 10). Sense may be good, I have no idea. But there is a REASON HTC are predicted to fall from a 2 percent marketshare to 1.2 percent next year. I too hope the M9 doesn't disappoint. Signs are good, with HTC FINALLY replacing that horrorshow camera on the M7 and M8 with a 20 mp version. But I suspect the real reason HTC are losing marketshare lies with the fact that they are very difficult to repair combined with a non-removable battery. Until those problems are adressed, I can't see HTC extricating itself from the quagmire HTC itself created, not marketing by Apple or Samsung.

i am feeling optimistic if there are some HTC Rooters here, can you tell me how difficult is it to root/unlock bootloader/flash custom ROMs/ flash custom kernels ? for me it is a piece of cake with my Galaxy S3 :P

HTC M9 should get the best sensor that Sony makes and put it inside. HTC must have the worse camera of all the smartphones. For something that cost almost close to $300 out of contract; it totally crappy! I rather buy an iPhone 6!

Give me a phablet to rival the Note series and I'll come back (yes that means a pen). I loved my Incredible 1. It's still going strong, been passed down in the family. HTC can make some seriously good stuff when they try...oh yeah, and a decent camera-lol,
