HTC to ship HSDPA devices in Q2 2006

HTC, the well know manufacturer of Windows Mobile devices, confirmed that HSDPA phones capable of reaching 1.4 mbps and above will start shipping in Q2 of 2006. The Register took an exclusive interview with HTC's president Peter Chou during which it was also confirmed that integrated GPS location technology is on the company's roadmap. One of the devices expected to be HSDPA capable is the upcoming Muse.
HTC has also announced today plan to open UK based senior sales and marketing office based in Slough, Berkshire.
