HTC spills red ink with its preliminary Q2 earnings report

The HTC One M9 and all of its variants do not seem to be resonating with the smartphone buying public. The company just released a preliminary look at its second quarter numbers, and they are not good. For the three month period ending in June, the company reported an operating loss of $166.2 million USD. Revenue totaled $1.07 billion USD. The company's net loss after taxes was $256 million USD, which works out to a quarterly loss of 31 U.S. cents per share...
