But charges so slowly. So the edge goes to S8+, U11

"if all the evice have the same MAH battery, iPhone smashed them all intopieces" Take into account the iPhone's lower display resolution and mox it together with its abysmal charge time for a flagship, and there you have an inferior battery life experience versus Android phones.

If all phones would have QHD, the iPhone would suck even more.

Battery life is One of the most important feature to consider on a smartphone and yet u manage to give it a 8.2 review score.Battery life of this phone is a lot better than those phone that have higher score. Lesson of the year: NEVER TRUST A REVIEW.Go for real life usage.

GSMarena 73H Endurance U11, G6 72H Endurace, but here 6h:09m on G6, and U11 9h:03m. Same S8 84H Endurance here 8H:22m and S8plus 88H Endurance here 8h, but U11 better battery life here. Lol test here.

"its not like gsmarena tests are reliable." I'll still take GSMArena's battery test over PA any and every day. Damn.

That doesn't change the fact gsmarena is not reliable even if you take it every damn day.

At least way more trust worthy than iPhoneArena

Do you read how each of the battery life tests are conducted? Each site spells out how they are done. Of course, you can piss and moan if you prefer, but you look foolish doing so.

Since different sites have their own tests and standards for battery life you're going to get different results.

Which goes to say what? They test different things, they get different results. We believe that typical usage of a phone centers around browsing and tasks of that nature. Our test is based around that. We test phones with meticulous attention to detail: same distance from router, same brightness level, same everything. In fact, look at other publications like the one you mentioned browser tests and you'd find they get similar results to our tests. They also tests 3G talk time, which is directly proportional to battery size. Including that number in testing skews results, and is not very relevant unless you spend 5 hours talking on your phone (and I bet you don't). We test typical usage, the battery life that the average user will get, not abstract numbers.

GSMARENA'S basis for battery life is much better than PA. Wht you don't understand is it was the average number of hours based on several parameters not just one.

Yea, I just bought it almost a week ago and the standby time is rather poor, but since it's dev friendly I have installed a custom kernel and now it rocks... but this should be fixed by HTC, it's shameful that people have to find other solutions to fix problems.

Only in PA you'll see U11 last longer than S8+, what a s**t test

Phonearena's Battery test is really stupid and very different with real life.. Not only battery test but also Display test are very stupidly wrong in real life.. especially the brightness level hahaha

Not sure what type of script y'all running but this test can't be accurate. I have an s8+ and a u11, and while the u11 battery life is pretty decent its a fry cry from how the s8+ performs on a daily basis.
