There is a new HTC flagship coming out soon. It goes simply by HTC U, though we've known about it for a while under the code name "Ocean". We have a fair bit of info about it, and we've compiled it all for your convenience...

It could be a test unit. I personally tested the A9 before it came out and our testing units were plastic where as the retail unit had an aluminum body.

The pictures that were put up by Evan Blass aren't the HTC U pictures cause from the teaser video by HTC themselves looks like there are no physical buttons on the sides of the phone, it looks very sleek and elegant and can't wait for 16/05 I'm sure I will spend my hard earned cash on such a beauty cause I love HTC reliability, durability and how they never slows down and they always make top notch phones.

HTC U is the future of smartphones if it has the fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen or on the edge

HTC must be crazy if they expect someone to spend $800 on that. Come on HTC, do better.

the phone is not even out yet.

If its include embeded in screen fingerprint and this sense on the edge is well made this phone will be a real piece of innovation.

Apple & Samsung are about the only vendors that people would be (for whatever reason) willing to pay 800 dollars or more for A STUPID PHONE. I can't see people shelling out that for an HTC phone.
When will this nonsense of "flagships" costing more and more ever stop?

Isn't that an iPhone with an HTC logo on it? That phone is pretty ugly.

Looks like a fatter, uglier, and rounder HTC 8x.
