HTC One with stock Android is not happening

During the opening day of the Google I/O developer conference on Wednesday, a special edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4 was introduced; powered by stock Android 4.2.2, and sans the manufacturer's TouchWiz, this variant of the flagship Android handset will be priced at $649 from the Google Play Store. So does this mean we might see a (pardon the pun) Sense-less version of the HTC One?...

the bottom line the s4 is the best android experience to date. the nexus 4 has too alot of limitations. including the deal killer for power users like myself.... non removable battery. the gs4 with touch and gs4 with android is definitely a big deal. i read alot of the biased comments on here. the ability for developers to work on touch whiz themes alongside stock android with open kernal, and boot will allow xda to thrive for along time. the gs3 still has a huge developer community. the gs4 will be the same and gs5 same again. in fact the gs2 still has a huge developer community... even by its manufacturer. so in short if you want to use a device for awhile. having an open android and touchwhiz themed device in the same model almost guarantees longevity. samsung is smart and business savy. i can't say the same for the others

Considering Sense 5 is buttery smooth and well laid out, I'm totally okay with this decision.

They can't release one anyways. Peter Chou said that the One is going to be the One. Releasing a Google version would make him a hypocrite.
