The fact is arguing with someone as blatantly mindless as you wouldnt be worth my time. If you really want to prove something, try make a phone out of soda cans and then we have something to talk about.

Tell luxury car owners that plastic is more premium than aluminum.. Hence the reason most high end cars have aluminum accents.. Every cheap car is made with all plastic inside

I have seen the HTC ONE yesterday and I can tell that it can be used as a jewelry in your hand , BUT I am compelled by the idea of not having additional memory card slot . plus a removable battery would have been a further plus. Either I will consider the 64 GB version or will wait till we have the double Sim version with additional micro SD card slot. Lets face the truth that no other mobile manufacturer has such high quality construction , excellent screen , and the best processor under one hood .

one more worry regarding this mobile is the service . I believe that to service this mobile is so difficult even for the technicians due to its construction rigid standards.

But...But....does the premium feel matters if you'll just gonna slap a $10 jelly case on it? Aluminium gets scuffed easily so you gotta put at least some protection lol

I know, right? I'll give it to HTC. They've been the first to push the quad core processing and 1080p display revolution. But they have poor quality control when it comes to crafting these devices.

As a person who owned mostly every metal made HTC, I can say that both of you are clueless. The things you speak of are in abstract. You are drawing conclusions by deduction and not from experiment. Fail.

so you'd rather see your phone gets scuffed so badly after 3 months of use in exchange for the the prestige and honor of owning a premium aluminium handset bare naked? lol..i don't get your logic You invested on a $700 phone ... not putting at least a protection on it is plain dumb

I don't know how you use your device, but after 3 month of usage with no case, there is no scuffing etc. Except if you drag it after you on a leash. The matter of deteriorating is subjective and differs from one person's habits to another. In the same way you could end up with a scratched and battered galaxy if you use it careless. I say: If you invested 700$ on a phone, you probably did well for yourself and the next year you can buy the next model if this one gets scuffed. If not, why buy a 700$ phone? Just to show off?

Seriously, what's wrong with wanting a metal phone? Would you prefer all phones are made of plastic? Yes, there's a risk of damaging the finish of a metal phone, but metal cars also carry this risk. I'd still choose a metal car over a plastic one. I think Apple and HTC should be commended for trying different materials versus boring plastic.

"For the new HTC One to win yet another international award, it demonstrates how HTC’s proven design capabilities, both in product design and user experience, is bringing a new perspective to the industry," HTC Chief Marketing Officer Ben Ho said. "We will continue to innovate and provide consumers with the highest quality products." "HTC's proven design capabilities, in Product design = YES..... User experience = FAT NO. You don't listen to your customers. At least not like Samsung does.

I guess you do not own an HTC One because if you had used one for a week, I don't think you'd be making this comment.

Sometimes I stumble upon weird ass conceptions like yours. What do you mean Htc doesn't listen to it's customers? User experience - fat no? Really? In this day and age, you really mean to say that customers choose an Android smartphone based on user experience? I'd say barely. And since we're on the subject, Sense is way cleaner and intuitive than TouchWizz. Everytime I had a Samsung in my hands, I'd change the Rom just because their interface is a pain in the ass. The only problem with HTC is that it doesn't have the marketing capabilities of Samsung, nor the notoriety. People worldwide have heard of Samsung and owned either a Samsung microwave, washing machine, hair drier, laptop etc. On the other hand, how many occidentals have heard of HTC? Who knows it was the first smartphone to sport Android - The HTC Dream, G1. Yes, HTC are better at designing and building a smartphone and they will get better as people become aware of them. HTC was building SPV for Orange with Windows Phone way before Samsung started to pay attention to the smartphone.

Its odd that the S4 receives higher ratings but generally people prefer the HTC One.
