Apple does not want to see this right now Steve jobs is so mad he knows apple cannot top this why because att's technology is so far behind.4g is to 3g what 3g was to edge not even close you got to give it sprint their always one step ahead maybe this will wake people up and give sprint a chance this will be one hell of a business phone as well as a great multimedia device. This phone has not one but two cameras HTC is taking the game to next level they need to market the hell out of this thing you got to let the public know about it all the public knows is the iPhone their not like us they just follow trend.

Job's has got to be thinking about how much better he could leverage the iPhone if he had a nice pristine 4G data backbone to run it on. I'm sure AT&T has some serious restrictions with regards to data usage in apps that come through the app store approval process.

Sprint had better make pre orders, and also have enough on hand damn it! I have been with them since their 1st few months in existence, and bought that terrible presidential package Startac for 650.00. You owe me for that junk Sprint, I never got my money back for that garbage. Can anyone say loyalty deserves a good phone finally.

your loyalty gets you anniversary upgrade elligibility, its not sprints fault if you dont use it. thats better than you find at any other post paid company, and you pay less each month for your phone.

No, they didn't have a phone worthy of buying until now since the Hero, and even that had major set backs. Also they do a better job with equipment quality control, which is something they didn't do when they first launched. Thats why they fell into the toilet. These compnaies are starting to realize you can't keep sellling customers cruddy, shoddy, poor quality equipment, and keep clientele. Not to mention I almost went Droid, and wavered for HD2. I bought the Original PPC6700, stepped up to the Mogul, but the TP Pro had issues, and the TP Pro 2 just came into it's own with the new 6.53 update. The anniversary update wasn't a life long Sprint perk until recently. VRZ had anniversay perks for quite some time so when did you wake up, and think that the anniversay update was a life long perk. I have had more cruddy phones than you can blink at in the past, and hopefully this won't fall into that category. I am not whining so don't get this history lesson twisted either. I am just saying as a loyal customer that hung in there through the crap.....pony up the goods, and don't screw up!

There were no problems with the HERO, they had all HTC's you mentioned 1st and the Premier program has been around for about 5 years but became public 2 years ago.

I'm almost regretful that I didnt wait til my contract was up before getting a droid, but i'll never forget how shitty my service was with sprint before i moved to vzw. Congrats sprint owners but i think i'll stick with the better network (as of now).

I wonder how much a phone like this will cost. Verizon definitely got one upped and along with the new qwerty slider bberry, I got one more reason to opt out of my ATT contract and go to sprint. this really sucks though b.c I only left sprint about 3 months ago

incase anyone hasnt realized..senseGay-I ..is nothing more than bloatware embedded..think about it..strip all that fancy crap off n then maybe you gotta real speedhorse! For those who just sharted themselves looking at this phone..realize yer nothing more than an HTC tool n next year there will be something else better This device compared to the iphone..my Iphone 3gs still kills this big ugly beats in specific points!. 1. The camera shutter is MUCH quicker 2. The keyboard is MUCH better to use (typical of HTC phones to be mis centered and a bit awkward to type) 3. For those who use Logmein..NOPE..no support yet for at least 2 years or so..so I cant use the big dumb thing n thnx iphone for logmein! 4. Iphones sensitivity onscreen has always been topnotch compared to ANY US phone and still going strong especially in the web experience!! thnx to iphones quick acting 3T64 renderring chip

jrcrow79 - I'm neutral on the whole "phone wars". A few years ago I'd say iPhone was the best phone out there. If you still believe that today, you're in denial. The iPhone is dated, and it's obvious. The screen quality hasn't been improved since the first gen, the new androids run circles around the iphone in terms of processor speed, multi tasking, etc. Maybe this year apple will give the iphone a seriously needed update, but we know how long it took to implement pic messaging -_- And about the points you made: 1) true, i guess... 2) definitely true. 3) idk what that is. 4)false, one word "flash" but that's a whole nother issue.

I think the Phone was revolutionary when it came out. Hell it's roots came from HTC; who made the first true touch screen phone with the Pocket PC. That said.......No multi tasking, hardly able to be heard in phone conversations makes it just an overated web surfing IPod masquerading as a phone. Media wise it is a great phone impersonator, and has it's niche! When Win7 comes out another nail in Apples profits will occur!

Video chat will revolutionize the way we interact on a device period. Sprint really upped the ante here. There will be lot's of people wanting such a device for the sheer coolness of it. I am not an I phone basher, and I think Iphone made a game changing approach that caused the EVO's conceptualization. Now the EVO stepped up to the challenge, and one upped the I phone with a game changing design that no h one has thought of to date. Steve jobs wants one too......I saw him disguised as an old man peaking, and asking why didn't we think of that. Now he's going to order one mail order in someone elses name so he won't get busted ditching the I phone for another ground breaking device.rofl ;)

It's a shame Sprint coverage sucks in most places. A good phone wasted on a poor network. Would be a much better phone on Verizon or AT&T.

what most places are you talking about, all the surveys says Sprint service is 1 otr 2 in the country?

Not to mention Sprint voice roams onto Verizon at 1xRtt so if Sprint coverage sucks, then Verizon must really suck too.
