HTC EVO 4G gets an OTA upgrade to repair camera bug
To fix some issues that the HTC EVO 4G has had with Qix and Tango, some owners of the device might find an OTA upgrade on their screen. The version, 3.30.651.3, should be installed only by those with 3.30.651.2 until Sprint says something differently. Those rocking the older version, 3.29.651.5, should not even be prompted to agree to the changes.

While the carrier has not provded any change log, it is expected that the new firmware will fix the bug that turns the phone off and back on when the user accesses Qix or Tango. The repeating power cycling could have required a hard reset to correct which would have resulted in the loss of all of your stored memory. Hopefully the new OTA upgrade will do the trick instead.
