HTC Droid DNA price slashed to $99 on Amazon
The HTC Droid DNA was the first device with a 5-inch 1080p screen to arrive in the States, and while we are still waiting for others to follow-up, you can now get the DNA much cheaper than its original price.

New Verizon Wireless customers can get the 5-inch monsterphone by HTC for $99 on Amazon and if you are upgrading the price would be $149.

The HTC Droid DNA started selling for $199 on Amazon, and its price was first slashed by $50, and now get an additional $50 price cut.

Could you mention any other reasons than competition instead of just saying "Nope"?

At Amazon this always happens. In Dec. of '11 I paid less for the BRAND new Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Amazon than anywhere else. That includes all the websites out there & even the Verizon store. I ALWAYS buy my phones from Amazon. You would be stupid to buy a mobile device from the actual carrier. It has NOTHING to do with the HTC Droid DNA/J Butterfly wanna be Sony Xperia Z/ZL. lol

You did say "Because Sony Xperia Z and ZL is coming?" & "Could you mention any other reasons than competition instead of just saying "Nope"?" right? Those are pretty convinsing implications, don't you think?

Today people feel high hipe about Sony Xperia Z and ZL and if they want to attract customers attention they definitely should drop HTC Droid DNA prices and that's why I have said: "Because Sony Xperia Z and ZL is coming?" Again, according to today's hipe about Sony Xperia Z, sellers should drop HTC Droid DNA prices if they want to attract customers attention and be competitive and that's why I have said: "Could you mention any other reasons than competition..." So I still can't understand where do you see in my words that I say that HTC Droid DNA / Butterfly wanna be Sony Xperia Z / ZL... I can see one thing clearly that you are HTC Droid DNA owner and it is somehow pain in your ass that other feel hipe abou Sony Xperia Z. ;)

It's no pain in my a$$. lol It's just that the price dropping by Amazon has nothing to do with the Sony Xperia Z/ZL. They just either want more traffic on their site OR want to sell you some warrantees. They always do this type of stuff to high demand phones so they can get the traffic. Like I said it has NOTHING to do with the hype of the Sony Xperia Z/ZL.

Or you could just stop in somewhere that price matches.

Except it's not... I just checked VZW's site and it's not free. It's still listed at $199.99 with 2-year contract/upgrade
