The Note 2 would be the better phablet simply because of the SPen, and the longer endurance of the handset
All the features integrated into the SPen would make it a better phablet, even if it doesnt have the 1080p screen...its more balanced overall..

What about the multiple window capability for the Note II? Another example of balance....

You're running out of valid points mr. Legend... I own the Note 2 and have had nothing absolutely nothing to complain about this phone.

Man I have to rant here a bit. I'm getting so sick and tired of hearing about HTC's superb design and build quality and how great sense is. HTC has been pounding this same boring red/black scheme to death. Looks like the offspring of a one x and a rezound. Dont't even get me started on how stupid "Beats" audio garbage really is. Sealed in battery? No expandable storage? This device isn't even in the same league as the NoteII especially in innovation. Reality is that if HTC was building such great innovative handsets with great build quality they wouldn't be in the shape they are in. They had a great opportunity to redeem themselves with this device and this is seriously the best they could come up with? Rant over and the GNote2 smokes this device. If HTC is going to survive, it's going to take a much better device than this. People might as well wait a month because the DNA will be 50 bucks on contract by 2013.

I've never tried the Note yet, so I don't see the hype behind the S-Pen, just seem like another stylus to me. However, I wouldn't count the DNA out even with the smaller battery. One X battery has been pretty good to me, and each update that I receive increases performance and battery life. Wait till there's user reviews before we could say DNA's battery life suck sh*t.

This is for sure an amazing phablet. however the specs doesn't matter that much in most scenarios, surely everyone will find very pleasant to look at the impresive screen, some people will even take advantage of the s4/snapdragon320, wich is hardly needed with currently available games and apps, but if you need to charge your phone 2 -3 times per day the entire experience is down, and 1080p screen limited to 16gb of multimedia and apps? i think i'll pass, samsung and motorola alredy took care those issues, whats wrong with HTC?

I don't understand the point of having a 1080p screen on a mobile phone, as it is the text is gonna appear super small, and My main question here.. How many apps actually support or are optimized for 1080p resolution? Everything is gonna look stretched and kinda pixelated, Agree?
720p for anything above 4.5' seems fine, but 1080p is ridiculous..
At the state of Specification wars we will have
Ridiculous! Companies should rather work on perfecting their device and bring some innovation to the table! This sucks.

You are right bro. Instead of running in the race of making screens with higher pixel density and giving multi core processor (2 cores are enough), the companies should focus on making their devices smoother by upgrading their custom android skins. I mean What's the use of a screen with a density of 440ppi. We don't even notice a pixel with above 300 ppi.

this is 50-50 competition..both are the best..

droid dna :

design - build quality - less Weight - display - slightly better camera - better size(for me) - linkpack better slightly - Best UI

Note 2 :

s pen - SD card sotarage - better internal memory - better battery - S voice

finaly if pick u up each phone u will have new experiment of ultimate features.
