All new phones should come with a base storage of 32Gb.. No excuses.

At $400 I would let 16GB pass. It's companies like Apple that charge $650 for 16GB that gets me upset. Plus this phone may be cheaper than $400; maybe $350. And you got to figure that the bump to 32GB is going to be around $50 anyway.

No. 32GB should be the bare minimum.

Yeah, I hope that PA has the 16GB claim wrong as well as the QHD screen claim rather than FHD (which is considered 2K.) I'm expecting base model will have 32 GB.

$400 for this kind of specs in late 2015 is expensive and not the value-for-money proposition Nexus fans have been waiting for. Should've started at $299 for 16 or 32 GB. This is how pricing should be for both Nexus phones: LG Nexus 5 $249 - 16 GB $299 - 32 GB $349 - 64 GB Huawei Nexus $399 - 32 GB (yes, taht's right! 16 GB on a higher end Nexus should be tossed out the window) $449 - 64 GB $549 - 128GB This will really push Google's sales numbers for its Nexus devices and give us Nexus fans a reason to go out and do the rain dance!

they need to make money, and the only competitor for them is OP2 (cheap phone, QHD, and nice spec) and maybe motoXstyle

Lol Um those prices are ridiculously low for the hardware. This irks me that Android fans are super low ballers like this guy and Apple fans are the opposite, super high ballers that are willing to pay a cool G for 2010 specs. Gives Apple such a huge mind share advantage when Android fans bitch about everything and isheep bitch about nothing.

Don't know, but since that SD card support will be native in 6.0, I assume that this year Nexus devices will have it. So, they can cut costs in internal storage. I Know that Nexus never had SD support, but Android never had SD support as well. And Nexus devices are to show off the Android's capabilities and developers can test them. USB-C, Fingerprint scanner, SD Card, maybe Dual-SIM...

So all new phone should cost more? Low end should come with 16 gb. Mid end with 32 gb high end with 64 gb or 32 gb and extensible memory.

399.00 is just the right price considering its hardware. SD808 GPU is quite bad and it throttles, not much as 810, still does. Might replace my N6 with this if it gets good reviews.

Is the 808 slower than the 800? Cuz that's what the current N5 has and it still runs great.

SD808 is slightly faster than SD801 but it's also warmet and more power hungry.

50-70% faster GPU.

Dear lord, I hope not. Not only would this mean it's priced at least $499 Canadian, but it makes the Moto X Style a considerably more attractive purchase.

I must agree, why bother with this, get better camera and xtra storage with Moto.

I hope it's not true. 16gb is only for the people who don't really need a smartphone. It's 2015. A more future proof 4k video would use up 1gb every 3 mins

The original Nexus 5 was a great looking phone, sharp screen, nice look and feel at an incredible price point. Its camera was hot garbage, which was disappointing but not unexpected. Even with a superior image sensor, the HTC One M9 took awful photos as well. Should LG be to blame for the bad programming? Will a new, larger MP camera unit help if the coding is piss poor? I have trouble understanding the value proposition here.

It's Google's fault.

I like the price, I might pick one up in addition to an iPhone 6s Plus

Weird. I figured with your willingness to buy a iPhone 6 Plus you were retarded with money... The OnePlus One has almost identical specs to the 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus but cost $363 delivered to my door vs $849+9% Sales Tax = $925... $562 more for nearly identical specs. I realize your money is your to blow however you see fit so this is just me thinking out loud. Never mind me.

Why are you concerned on what he buys? It's his money, not yours.

SD808 - the battery destroyer. Don't rush anything Google, wait for the SD620.

16gb really!? ffs why can't we get atleast 32 if not 64 to start off with? not evryone lives in the cloud. plus with the image sizes/video sizes that these cameras are capable or shooting, sometimes in 4k, how does 16 really make sense? they want us to download apps which add up, shoot hd video, images n the system ui still takes a up a chunk of that n still expect us to have enough space. really?
