The Pixel took the first place from the X performance (and the 10 and S7 edge): Looks like an amazing camera.

IIRC, they're using a Sony sensor that is the follow-up to the one in the 6p.

Well, that's fair to point that the competition isn't offering what google is. I hope Apple reacts to this make iCloud free and unlimited for all iPhone owners. I am not holding my breath.

LMFAO, I love when Samsung, and now Google, need to mention Apple AKA the gold standard. Watch Apples last event and count how many times they mentioned Samsung or Google. Apple FTW!

Watch any previous Apple event, they made plenty of snide comments in reference to Android. The fact they didn't one time doesn't undo the previous ones.

Really? Shall we go back to the 2015 event? 2014? Give it up sunshine.

Well it is the best-selling phone, so it actually is the gold standard for smartphones.

Apple never attacks anyone. They just keep making products gold-standard ion x glass, gold standard cameras and camera speed, gold standard displays, gold-standard bezels, and gold standard storage options. They just sit back and create great products and leave everyone else alone ....except when they don't. Apple FTW!

Ha ha you can't even come up with a link to prove me wrong, you have failed at life! All you did was link some comments that were made in the course of a normal conversation, and who knows if they are even accurate! Now link an APPLE EVENT, so I can hear with my own ears where Apple takes jabs at Samsung and / or Google. I'll repeat, link an APPLE EVENT.

58. willard12 unregistered

As much as I'd love to work for you and continue to find links that you could ask Siri for, I'll just remind you that Apple goes after Android adoption rates during every EVENT. Their events used to compare the number of apps in the App store vs the Google Play store. But, for some odd reason, they stopped mentioning that. Instead, you should just make your challenge more narrow than than you already have by specifically asking for cases were Apple mentioned Google or Samsung at the 2 x Apple events each year. Instead go further by asking when has Apple mentioned Nexus devices, at midnight, in North Dakota, on the radio. You can then brag that it has never happened. Therefore, Apple only cares about making gold standard products. Either way, your entire premise of Apple not mentioning or caring about other manufacturers is dead.

I linked Apple events from 3 years. Care to respond?

Why yes I'll respond to your lame attemp at considering WWDC an 'event'. Sorry kiddo, I think even you know you've failed; show me an APPLE EVENT, you know, those little things that Apple has in September, to talk about their new products. Kinda like the Samsung unpacked events, get my point?

Who cares when it was said? They said it public in front of the press, just like Google did today. And by the way, an event is anything where the press is invited to show something off. If you're saying WWDC isn't an event, then what is it. What's you're next stipulation? "Show me where they mentioned Android on a Sunday after 5pm. You can't! You've failed at life!" As far as I can tell, the only ones who failed at life was your parents by bringing you into this world. Some people can actually have a rational discussion of opposing viewpoints without being an aggressive asshat. Try it some time.

Criticizing the best will never make you the best.

But denying any criticism doesn't mean your problems go away like "magic".

Knock Apple all they want, Apple is not foolish enough to offer carrier exclusives.

When I read that I couldn't believe it. Apparently people's memory only lasts a couple years now. I hope to God that was sarcasm

Jesus, man, I do remember that the Iphone was an AT&T exclusive originally. What I do not remember is the lawsuit cited by willard12.

45. anl23 unregistered

Actually, it's not. I have been here before. But look at it this way: how has making the IPhone available to all carriers worked out for Apple? Not too bad. And we agree that carrier exclusives are bad or at least will not be good for Google. Still, I appreciate the reference and the correction, Thanks.

The fact that the iPhone was carrier exclusive is the very reason why Android even exists right now. When you isolate the majority of the market by working exclusively with a single carrier, the rest of the industry will accept the alternative. And while I'm not overly fond of what Google's going right now, you are still able to use the phone on other carriers, you just won't be buying it from their outlets.
