the whole lights and coffee in the morning has me sold. now if it could get the computer to turn on and turn on specific programs and web pages, that would be phenomenal.

To be honest, for your smartphone to power up your computer would be less advanced then the lights. PC's have a power on LAN option, which would allow another computer (or device), on your local area network to send a power up command to your computer, allowing it to turn on. Integrate a little remote administration into the smartphone, and you would easily be able to have certain applications on the PC load up. While this type of software tech may not be available to the masses, I can say some of us already have it. ;)

This shows the level of innovation Google is striving for. They want to be a house hold name, & Google is finding interesting ways to achieve that. I would love to be able to control my home & manipulate all aspects of my busy life with my smartphone.

I am VERY interested in what Google will produce, they should be working on some very cool stuff.

Also I am with remixfa, the coffee thing is so awesome! lol

I've being talking about this for quite a while you know? -_- to Google information and how information becomes of use is key, with your smartphone as the key that runs everything around you. I can see your phone turning your AC when you are close to home, remindig you that there is a show you might want to record, turning your lights when you arrive. Its yet another reason why Motorola is important to Google on other stuff.

Maybe will see something in the event this week

Skunkworks. Really? Has Google sunk that low? Well, I guess we know why some of their products stink now.

Come on, you knew it had to be said.

"Skunkworks" is their secret project name that they are really using to tear down Apple devices and find all the stolen patents.

Rotten Apples smell like skunkass anyway.

You go figure it out, Miz.

Where's that stupid chicken, now...
