Google Play Store supports fingerprint authentication for purchases on Marshmallow

When Google announced official support for fingerprint readers in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, we knew that fingerprint authentication use would be much more expansive than it was on iOS at launch, including third-party support. But, now it has been confirmed that users can authenticate Google Play Store purchases with their fingerprints on Marshmallow...

"but of course that also comes with the downside of potentially spending a lot more money in the Play Store than you might want" ...seriously.............? This is not a problem at all. Never had this "issue" on iOS, and certainly wont have it on Android.

Why the hell would you let anyone (let alone Google that wants to own everything you have) keep YOUR fingerprint on their servers? Is that really true? Mine is kept on my iPhone, I believe android should keep it on the device ONLY!!!

Specs? LOL. Your mighty android needs hexa-core to power your specs while iOS is beating the crap out of most Android flagships with its dual core processors.

No! Apple's dual-core processors are much BIGGER cores than the Hexa-, Octa-Cores found in Droids. These are 2 different architecure designs... Apple focuses on single-thread performannce, while other OEMs focuses on multi-thread performance. Yeah.... Apple wins on the single core battle, but... our Droids smokes Apple's SoC in the multi-core battle!

I guessed you cannot read extensive comparisons - this article is as basic as I can simply for you, Hexa-crow. The best score from all androids was one phone with just a little over apples dual core in multi core test (using a hexagon-core). The rest fall behind apples multicore tests and absolutely embarrased by apples single core.

oh yeah? because you are comparing the latest A9 SoC versus 9 months old SoCs. But face it, Exynos 7420 beats the A8 in iPhone 6. and in the next 9 months, new SoCs will beat the A9... And you're so glad with the A9 and iOS which can only open a single app at a time? hahahaha.

My point is that the Note5 has the same chipset found in the GS6, so it isn't as new as the A9.

As it's a fact: Apple uses much BIGGER cores than the ones found in Droids. so if Apple wants to go quad-core, they will have to reduce it's die's size, which means lower IPC, hence weaker single-thread performance. they can't go quad-core with same die size, - it won't even fit in the iPhone. so go get a clue of what you so brag about. smh

Resolution is super sharp - no difference (just specs for the sake of specs). Somehow il controlling my TV without IR blaster on the iPhone - wanna explain that one? Battery in iOS 9 is superb - go read about it - specially on iPhone 6s and really really excellent on. 6s+. And you were already told that with iPhone "specs" it beats android or at least just as fast!!! Single core embarrasses ALL androids, multicore - 2 cores just as fast as 4,6,8 or whatever cores you got on your android and sometimes beats some flagships too. Anything else?

Resolution is super sharp??? hahaha, hey play a 4k video on your iPhone 6S and on the Note5 and see on which screen does the 4k is better detailed!!! and hey, try using your "super sharp" 750p for VR games; it sucks like crap! All what you'll see are large squares and nothing else.

You keep brining this VR games like its the only thing that matters. Guess what, I have yet to meet a single person who actually plays VR. But just the opposite when playing instance games like RR3, MC5 and AfterPulse (well you won't get AfterPulse until there's an android phone that can run it) the note 5 actually jitters sometimes because of its unnoticeable bump in resolution that requires more resources than my just as sharp iPhone. So Keep playing your spec game - while my phone runs same games a lot smoother.

yeah... games first developed for iOS then ported into Android. right? and that you haven't yet seen people play VR games doesn't make it useless. And 4k videos looks alot better on 2k screens than on 750p. heck, Sony's Z5 Premium rocks a 4K UHD display. so freaking great, so 4k videos play at thier native aspect ratio and full detail, no downscaling!!! And hey, the Note5 can render games and contents at 1080p not 2k, because there's an option in-built. And hey, if the Note5 had a 750p display, it'll crush any iPhone in graphic quality and game framerates. But hey, we don't want a 2012 screen resolution, and do not blindly buy whatever your fruit company makes anyhow.
