Google Play Movies & TV app now available for iOS

Earlier this month, Google added the option for iOS users to be able to watch movies and TV shows that were purchased or rented through Google Play Movies & TV through the YouTube app on an iPhone or iPad. Now, it seems that functionality wasn't really necessary, because Google has released a standalone Play Movies & TV app for iOS...

or it could allow existing android customers who have recently switched to ios to access their purchased media on Google Play !

Nah, they don't purchase. They only like cracked apps and free ones. Hahaha.

For me it seems that making Google products available Android-only and thus enriching and popularising just Android is more beneficial for Android hardware manufacturers than it is for Google, cuz in the end less people use Google products than in case those were multi-platform. Google aim is making its products popular among all internet users, not just Android-based internet users. I see no trojan horse strategy in here.
