Wow nice, for me i'm willing to pay that extra $20 and buy from a store to deal with warranty issues and such. Much easier that way imo, being able to talk to a person face to face

Just like always, they mask the government tax in "Shipping" and take us for fools. Assuming these Nexus tablets are made in China, China is closer to Australia, it costs less to ship items to Australia from china.

I've been following the Nexus Tablet in Aus playstore, on the verge weather to buy, but the prices in Australia are a far cry from 199 which is the strongest selling point.

Base 8GB Model (With actual 5GB, no sd card) costs 249, than add 20 for shipping, 269.

the 16GB model costs 299 and add 20, 319 dollars,

we dont even have a 32gb, but 319 for a 7 inch tablet without hdmi, sd card, usb host, pretty much nothing apart from jelly bean which has already made its way to roms.

i got my Iconia 16GB 3G for 300 aus on a clearance sale, brandnew, 10inch, 16GB, sd card, usb host, 3G for less than this tablet.

Its sad to see Aus people get ripped, the only selling point is the 199 price, id have pre-ordered on day 1 had it been 199 or even if it had a sd card slot.
