Home Depot isn't the first store you'd think of when looking to purchase a new tech product online. But the store's website does include the recently announced Google Home Hub smart display. Expected to be released on October 22nd with a MSRP of $149, Home Depot is selling the device online now for $99. That is a $50 or 34% discount, and delivery is free. Considering the size of the discount, and the fact that the Home Hub doesn't launch until a week from Monday, you might want to grab it now from Home Depot just in case it is a mistake.

UPDATE:Looks like the $99 price was a mistake. Home Depot has adjusted its website so that the price for the Google Home Hub is where it should be, $149. Additionally, the listing says that units ordered now won't arrive until October 26th at the earliest.

The Google Home Hub comes with a 7-inch touchscreen and works with Android, iOS, Mac, Windows and Chromebook. It also features Bluetooth 5 and Google Assistant. The device will stream music with lyrics, show you recipes, play Netflix and YouTube videos, monitor Nest security cameras and more. It requires a Wi-Fi network, a nearby electrical outlet, and a compatible (Android, iOS) mobile device.

If the Home Depot webpage isn't a mistake, this is a darn good sale. The only bummer is that the color options offered by the home improvement retailer, Chalk and Charcoal, are not as bright and lively as Aqua or Sand. To take advantage of this deal, click on the appropriate sourcelink below.
