I'm just saying, I have an iphone 4 now cause of work an all but I've had android,wp,blackberry, etc. if this truly is the "newest" design I will definitely be leaving my options open...Its time to stand out from the crowd, not be seen with the same thing everyone else is holding lol

Boring! Nothing new here folks. Really a dull looking phone now. Note 2 will destroy this to pieces/much better phone.

wow !! im very impressed !! The designer he should think a lot to do that... at least 5 minuts !!!! or 10 !!! But yeah !! If the iphone looks like that , im convinced that this company does'nt care to make a beautifull phone !!!! they just dont want !!!! Simple they give you a big screen !!! its like they say to you !! " just take your f***g 4 inch screen and shut up !!! Dont break my balls now !! ''

These pics are new, but it's not like we haven't seen the iPhone 4/4S next to the "iPhone 5" before.

I like Apple and Android and I am not having a go just because it's an Apple product, but it seems to be a bit of a lazy design. I know people liked the design of the 4 and 4S and normally I'd see nothing wrong with a company keeping a form factor they know people like, but Apple make such an emphasis on the design and looks of their products that it seems lazy of them to not change how it looks.

Again, I'm not saying it's bad, it just seems odd that a company that promote themselves as a company centred around design and looks are sticking with an old design.

What i think Apple should do is shake up the market and do this:

iPhone 5 = 4" screen
iPhone X = 5.5" screen (the X stands for Xtra Large)

The iPhone X would be priced at $399 and $499 on a 2 year contract. They would come in 64GB and 128GB models. This would cover their entire screen spectrum from the:

iPhone 4S = 3.5" screen
iPhone 5 = 4" screen
iPhone X = 5.5" screen
iPad Mini = 7.85"
iPad 3 = 9.7"

Let me know what your thoughts on this...

I love how all the iFans writing. No this is not the design of the new iPhone 5,
They would never let ... blah blah.

You really think Apple would let some fake renders circulate the web, knowing that many people who are put off with that will go for different phones ?

Do you know how many people already bought some new phones over the summer, because they seen the renders and said to them selves there is no point in waiting ?

don't dream of creating screen problems for apple. fragmentation is android's trademark, leave it to them.

Maybe they should call it iPhone 4S+1 row.

A: "Hey, is that an iPhone 4S?"
B: "No, it is an iPhone 5."
A: "Huh? You sure? It looks like an iPhone 4 or 4S to me."
B: "It's longer! Ok? See? It has a 4 inch huge screen! It also has an extra row of app icons! That's amazing innovation!"
A: "Ooookkaayy... I don't want to argue with that..." *Goes back using his/her 1+ year old Samsung, HTC, Sony etc. 4++" screen phone he/she is holding.*

It's just a bigger 4S. Sorry guys but I really don't think you should spend more money to sth that's similar to what you have

is the same thing with samsung... galaxy s, s2, s3,galaxy mini 2, Ace plus, Ativ s, note, note2 ,Duos, Rush, Stellar, Appeal, Reverb, etc... just getting bigger and bigger each month. as long as samsung changes the name of the phone and the screen size people wont be able to tell is the same thing "just bigger".

"yaY lets buy the new galaxy s3,it has 4.8"screen" ...a month or 2 later the Note 2 comes out and again "yaY 5.5 screen lets get it,samsung power activate!"

Too bad that the thing on the right is not an iPhone 4 or 4S, but rather a fake iPhone by some company in China.
