Free iPhone SE deal with carrier switch is back on at Metro by T-Mobile
Apple caught us all off guard with that recent revival of the 2016-released, 2018-discontinued iPhone SE, but unfortunately for nostalgic fans of super-compact handsets, the 4-incher quickly sold out before returning and vanishing again.

While we honestly have no idea if you’ll ever be able to purchase the unlocked iOS 12-eligible device from official Apple Stores again, Metro by T-Mobile still sells the iPhone SE in space gray and rose gold 32GB variants.

Perhaps “sell” is not the best way to describe what Metro is doing, though, as new subscribers can get the timeless smartphone essentially free of charge right now. All you need to pay is a small activation fee... as long as you’re willing to bring a non-T-Mobile number to Metro.

Network switchers have actually been treated to this exact same deal before, and just like back in August, the iPhone 6s is also heavily discounted with port-ins, from a $549 list price (that’s obviously ancient history) to a measly 49 bucks.

Of course, nothing beats free stuff, especially when said stuff earned such stellar reviews a few years ago. A whole lot has changed in the mobile industry since early 2016, but the incredibly lightweight iPhone SE should be more than capable of handling everyday tasks like texting, moderate web browsing, and even some casual multitasking. After all, it’s got an iPhone 8-matching RAM count. And a Touch ID sensor soon to become as rare as handsets smaller than 4.5 inches

Elsewhere, the iPhone SE can be purchased for as little as $70... in refurbished condition with prepaid plans, or at $140 and up from Best Buy on Total Wireless and Simple Mobile networks. So, yeah, this Metro deal is great on so many levels.
