WOW OK Mr. Charlie Kindel if you don't want your SGS2 you can send it to me I'll be happy to take it off your hands for free- heck I'll even pay for shipping. As to your opinion I would expect you to be bias but I can't say I share your enthusiasm for window phones. Android works for me and I guess your entitle to your opinion no matter how wrong but hey give it to me if you don't want it.

Maybe because not everybody can appreciate a taste of good wine but everybody likes a draught beer...
Just saying; no 1 sales does not make you a better platform (think about where Symbian is when taking in consideration the quality of OS).

I agree. At the same time, ppl left the old Win Mo and jumped on Android for a reason. And ppl are still choosing Android for a reason. I wouldnt say its the best...no mobile phone or OS is the best......but if it sucked as bad or was as complicated as some ppl claim it is...it wouldnt continue to have the market share it does.

Also why do some ppl make Android out like its this difficult, complicated thing to use?

Example of how my ex GF used my Droid X1:

Web browsing
Music player

If thats what you call complicated....I should have a Ph.D with what I do with my Android phones.

Android can be a simple or complicated as you make it. The myth that Android is for geeks and complicated is about as bad as the myth that the iPhone "just works".

regardless if he is not microsoft employee anymore there will always be biased towards microsoft..the thousands of positive reviews, the fact that it has one phone of the year on various gadget sites proves how good this phone is unless they are all wrong.

Well I am not surprised he is trying to sell a half baked OS to the public, Really Really

" A typical non-geek consumer would be absolutely-fraking-crazy to pick an Android phone over a Windows Phone" Is this man delusional or what.

1.WP7 is half-baked will comeout good as WP8. still WPx[10] would be the best to compete with other mobile OS.

2.Android is not half-baked, but "over-cooked". still it being cooked with more and more sugar coatings...

Care to tell us why WP7 is half-baked? With a comment like that, you must have some logical reasoning behind it, right?

I had an HD2 for a while with some custom roms. Maybe I just didn't spend enough time with it (a week) but I went back to my vibrant after that week. (got the HD2 free from a relative)

The HD2 ran Windows Mobile 6.5, not Windows Phone 7. Those two OS are completely different than each other. Unless of course you were running the HD2 with a custom Windows Phone 7 rom...

This guy is sooo right! The scrappiest OS on the market right now is Android. Not only is it copied from the original iOS, but it also is the most geek-orientated. Even Symbian with its Belle version is now better than Android. If I have to make a top 5 chart I'd make it like this: 1. iOS, 2 (soon to become 1-st)WP, 3. Symbian (Belle and Carla), 4. Android, 5. Blackberry

Striker is so retarded.

Android is the fastest growing OS in the world and you run your mouth like you have no brain.

Maybe you don't.

Why must I have to remind ppl that the home screen and icon layout does not make up the entire OS?

Once you get past the home screen, icon layout they are 2 entirely different animals.

3 letters - ICS.

Gingerbread is not perfect we all know this, ics is not perfect but to me its the best OS i have used.

I have played around with win 7.5 and I have a 4s - let me tell you windows is far behind android and IOS.

ICS is the best os out at the moment, its not without its bugs but its near enough a new os, so there are bound to be.

all these anti android articles are just a reflection of the fear at the ever growing os that is android, he may no longer work for microsoft but 21 years is enough to show you where is loyalty is.

Windows is even more restricted than ios - what can you actually do with windows that you cannot do with android or ios ?

Microsoft came to the game to late

android and symbian not in the same league... android is the best... ios just an app launcher... symbian is worth comparing with WP and RIM...

Right here. I've owned many smartphones, everything from Palm OS, Windows 6.0,6.1,6.5, BB OS, WebOS, Android, iOS, Maemo 5, Symbian, and I love Win Phone 7. Not as powerful as Android, but man, is it so much nicer to use.
