Flash mob spells successful promotion for the LG G2

Flash mob spells successful promotion for the LG G2
Perhaps there isn't much to do in the Ukraine on a Sunday afternoon when LG put together a "flash mob" for lack of a better title defining the crowd that came out to celebrate the LG G2. The dancers even demonstrated things like a common pose for the 13MP rear-facing snapper with OIS. Hmm. Wonder how Optical Image Stabilization translates in Russian.

Some of the video might have reminded you of the marching bands that are shown at halftime during NCAA Football telecasts. And you have to love the mob's depiction of the power button and volume rocker on the back of the phone.

It's a clever promotion and we hear that those who took part in the flash mob will be contending on next season's Ukraine's Got Talent.

that wasn't clever at all. it wasn't even cleanly executed. seriously, you thought that was impressive? they should've used chinese or japanese people to do those moves. they're way more on point.

I agree! The whole thing just seemed out of sync and just plain messy. Wasn't good

LG doesn't want to be samsung... because they are better than samsung. The only Note they will be taking is the Note 3, to the grave. Just tellin the truth.. not even samsung fan bois give enough of a s**t to flash mob.

Bah LG has been trying to copy samsung since forever, just look at their UI, same materials, the note 3 is good for a certain niche of people, me personally looking forward the Z1 but dont even know when it will hit US shores, but build quality, water proof, shock proof (dragon trail glass), 20.7 mp camera with G lense, amazing display by sony, no surprise there. This was not even a flash mob, more like poorly executed work, but usually flash mobs are blending with the public, without them knowing anything about it, this was not the case.

you just said LG is better than Samsung, you know something is wrong with you when you start thinking like that, oow wait I get it, LG hired trolls , no wonder the G2 currently has the most votes as the best smartphone (poll)

Wow, how could you accuse ANY OEM of being underhanded against Samsung, the king of underhanded? Cheating at benchmarks, astroturfing for their own products and against those of competitors, and blatant industrial espionage should disqualify Samsung from any sympathy.

paying taiwanese students to troll htc. stopping nokia orders for amoled displays because they used the displays for their own devices. they're on the news.

You sound like a butthurt samsung fan boy. Just being honest, but really it's not anyones fault that the G2 won the most votes on the poll. It's disgusting actually how much better LG is than Samsung. The proof being the G2. Just accept it bro the trolls are the ones who vouch for samsung all of the time without wavering. Samsung is a good company but they lost this fight, don't lose sleep over it k?

i really like the lg g2. i think the display is better than sony's inconsistent triluminos. however, i want the waterproofing, the great new sony 20.7mp camera, and the premium build. despite the z1's bezels, it still looks way better for me. but i really like the g2 with all its features and compactness. i just don't like the way it looks.

LG has unfortunately been playing catch-up for 3 years. They owned Samsung in featurephones for much of last decade (at least in the US), but they were too late to the Android party and are still late differentiating themselves. I wish them the best with the G2 and I'll take a serious look at it when it arrives next week, but they're still in Samsung's shadow.
