The guy in the video shouldn't have compared it to the iphone. He should have compared it with the dare, xenon, versa, etc. Verizon's enV-touch should market against AT&T's Xenon (even though they are made by the same company) because they are both high-end touch-screen and texting phones, each with their own different style. We've already gone through that Voyager iphone killer crap and I really hope that they don't advertise that again with this phone. And it's probably just me, and I'm not trying to bash this phone or anything, but I'm seeing a lot of the iphone in the enV-touch. Threaded messages, proximity sensor, slide upwards to unlock, etc. But I guess other phones have some of those features too.

A tru iphone killer will come when/if windows or linux OS make a mobile OS based off of the desktop kernal and not off of an original kernal. Windows mobile uses the Windows CE kernal which is limited in its functionality. Android is linux based, but it is still very limited in functionality as well. The iPhone runs OS X!! a very powerful OS with a lot of functionality. Granted you would have to pay me large sums of money to ever purchase a Mac computer or an iPhone, but I do like the UI it has and like that windows is finally starting to catch up with 6.5. Hopefully WinMo 7 is completely different instead of just upgrades of the same kernal. Symbian and Proprietary OS from manufacturers will not have the capacity that Apple and Windows have unless they get hyper developed over the next 10 years. Basically, I too am sick of the "iPhone Killer" crap that is thrown around every where. The closest thus far is the Omnia HD (8910), the Pre (supposedly) and the HTC Touch Series, but we shall see what the future holds for a next gen apple product.

Enough with the "iPhone Killer" crap. There will never be a true iPhone Killer until VZW finally decides to actually carry it. LTE FTW!!!

The Storm 2 (if the distributed video is real) is MONTHS away. None of my contacts have any info about it's release (iminent or otherwise). If it's coming to VZW, think holiday season.

Yeah the guy had to remove the video because someone actually called his contacts that were on the screen for a second. I can't believe someone would do that!

I know right? People can be so dumb sometimes. In the video he left the contact area of the en-V touch quickly because he said he didn't want to show it long enough because people might stalk his friends.

I love how people complain that this is just the "Voyager Refresh" and therefore noone should care about it. Meanwhile, most people on here are just ignorant...learn the specs and features and compare the two; you'll see how different they are and how much better the enV Touch is going to be.

I played with one in the store yesterday. It seems like a pretty nice phone, better features than the original Voyager. This one is a little thinner than the past version, the touch screen seems a little better, and the 3 megapixel camera is very crisp. Just make sure if you buy this phone or any other touch screen, get SCREEN PROTECTORS! They will be sold in different packaging than the old touch screen phones. These will have 2 for the external screen, 2 for the internal screen.
