First ad for Google Pixel 3 has star power

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are being officially released today, which is why the new handsets are the subject of a 30 second ad produced by Google. The company spared no expense and enlisted the help of four stars to help promote the latest Pixel phones. The quartet of celebrities include everybody's favorite television chef Gordon Ramsay, music producer Marshmello, Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch, and YouTubers Eva Gutowski and Joey Graceffa.

Being the latest Pixels, right off the bat the 30 second spot starts off with talk about the camera. Group Selfie Cam, which uses the front-facing wide-angle 8MP camera to shoot selfies of large groups, is discussed. Fast Charge is also mentioned. With this feature, 15 minutes of charging can provide users with as much as 7 hours of battery life.

We know that Chef Ramsay hates when someone serves raw chicken, but apparently he loves to find out the names of certain plants using Google Lens. We guess AI stands for more than adult indigestion, right Chef? And the Pixel 3's front facing stereo speakers are also brought up in the commercial.
